In case you were not familiar with the terms “root strangulation” or “girdling,” it is when the roots of a plant slowly strangle itself by circling around the base. In pots, this is caused by the growing roots hitting the edge of pot and continuing to grow around the inside.

Our Genesis Fabric Pots are made of 100% breathable fabric, facilitating air pruning, fibrous root growth, and preventing root strangulation. As you might know, when roots hit air, they stop growing. When the roots of your plant hit the side of the breathable fabric pot, they stop growing, causing the plant to grow new roots for a denser root system.

I use 3 gallon pots at a minimum. Some growers get tall plants in 1 gallon bags too.

But for me ... I get big autos from 3 gallon smart pots. This is a BLUE CORAL under CFL at 3 foot plus. Some growers think CFL wont grow good plants but they are full of shit.

For those that are getting 12" plants , not sure why that would be unless you are growing short ryders or dwarf strains. I get full use of medium and root mass is full inside entire container with no left over UNUSED soil.

Even under LED - i use 3 gallon smart pots
I stick to a 18/6 light schedule from the start ...
No transplanting ( seed straight to final pot )
I add up to 40% perlite .. To soil .. Making it very aerated like a soiless mix.
I water a little more often but the roots get oxygenated and grow rapidly.

she sure will m8 ,u ever use unsulfured molasses ? i use it every grow once every 2 weeks full of magnesium and calcium so no need for cal/mag and not sure where your from but only £1.50 200ml jar and its sugar so extra sticky nugs and great for growing (tony tucker from friday )YOU KNOW THIS MANNNN lol:bigjoint::bigjoint:

Definately. I have been using molasses and have grown some fat buds fo sho. I'm going with Bud Candy this next round Bc the Midnight kush is blueberry x super hash plant heritage so it will be so fruity tootie . Don't wanna go off subject too much...If that afghan pops out I'll let u know!

Looks good man! I agree with the CFL. I have mh/hps now but my first grow was with cfls but my cab was too small. I did manage to get an ounce or so off of a foot plant each so yeah they work especially for vegging!
