Autoflower weird-ness

I have this autoflower that seems to be growing a new shute from a calyx instead of pistils. The seed is from Crop Kings, strain is Candy Cane. She's 6 weeks and 1 day old from when germinated seed hit soil. Just seems weird to me. This plant is also way behind on budding vs my other Candy Cane. Anyone ever see this happen before???

I've seen it before especially on the lower nodes. I usually just cut em off.

really? hmm...i just have new shoots like this guys.

Id guess it's the plants "second life" starting.

Autos still " veg " during flowering. Snip them off without making stringers - they will not grow worthy to keep on plant.

no second life with autos bruh!
they live on a life cycle, not light dependant.
My guess is it has a retarded photoperiod throw back gene coming out from being inbred over and over again...
