per·pet·u·al Adjective /pərˈpeCHo͞oəl/
Never ending or changing
Occurring repeatedly; so frequent as to seem endless and uninterrupted
(of a plant) Blooming or fruiting several times in one season

basically you stagger your plants so when you harvest the next plant will be ready to harvest in a month or so (your previous harvest will last until the new harvest is ready)

what does perpetual grow mean?

generally 100w per plant is norm - but again it depends on many diff factors

auto's generally smaller so you can get more in...

Okay, so I've only posted here (in this thread) a couple of times, but I'm subbed and I follow along. I see you guys getting some awesome yields from your Autos! I finished my first grow (all CFL) Feb. 22, a Kandy Kush 16 grams dried and 3 Chocoloate Rain, 34 grams dried for all 3. Pitiful! Anyway, I have since bought a 400 Watt HPS for my newly set up Flower area. Before, I used one area and just switched out each bulb for Veg or Flower. I have a BCN Diesel, and Onyx and an Mi5 8 days from seed in a germination tray. I was planning to move them today, along with my 3 Wild Roses and Mekong High, which will veg out, haha, while my Autos grow in the Flowering Area. That was until I did a test run with the HPS. My closet went up to almost 100 degrees in 4 hours! With the CFLs, in the dead of winter, I had a heater on in there 24/7! Anyway, my light has an air cooled opening, any advice on what kind of fan to hook up to it? Do I pull fresh air in through the new fan or pull out the hot air? Any advice would be great! I want to go shopping for whatever I'll need this weekend!

Even though I have a 400w cooltube, I have mine set up to draw air through the carbon scrubber and out of the grow area...no odor and temps are controlled....

Aby extraction fan shud do, Depends how big your growing area is, mine is 120cm x 120cm x 200cm with a 400hps and i use a 4inch extraction fan through a carbon filter and that keeps temps pretty much perfect!!

thats exactly the size of my area, except im on a 240 not a 400, however i want a fan that can take a 400 coz im gonna upgrade soon.

007.jpg003.jpg013.jpgto get the perfect fan for your size all you have to do is height x lenghth x 20 which in this case is 48 so you need an extraction fan which sucks out at least 48 cubic metres of air per minute, almost all basic ones do that my 4inch extraction fan on full stick sucks out 175cubic metres, and im using a 400w hps its more than adequate!!
