Yea ok well it doesn't actually Automatically flower to finish, They should call them AutoStarting Strains, You still have to induce a light change man. Auto means auto basically no matter what the conditions. It's just a way for the Seedbanks to sell more seeds. I think the term is Propaganda, or perhaps a Marketing Strategy for their Product. But Autoflower start to finish........Try it and see if it Automatically flowers without changing the lights. Sorry for being a realist but that name is just straight contradictory.

Anyone have any opinions on those two comments from the thread (link below). Its just that that goes completely against everything ive read in the course of my research into autoflowers.

Yea that dudes wrong, he needs to buy some seeds and see for himself. My last indoor short rider finished under 20 hours of light the entire time.

I remember reading someone who had some problems with some auto flower seeds, cant remember the seed bank (possibly nirvana, although im not sure). He said that he phoned the seedbank, they traced his seeds, and they had come from a dodgy batch (an individual batch that was dodgy, not a strain that was dodgy). The seedbank suggested he give them 48 hours darkness to try and get em started (this didnt work), but in the end sent him some new seeds from a good batch. So, maybe this guy suffered something similar and had based his entire opinion on one experience (only guessing, but it seems possible).

Either way, I dont like to talk or argue a point unless its from personal experience - and in 70 days I should be able to talk from personal experience ( :fingers crossed: lol ). :peace:

I can speak from experience, 71 days from seed to harvest under 20 hours light the entire cycle.

any suggestions for nutes on a snowryder/ himalaya blue diesel grow? also how often to feed etc? new to the game but im really hoping for a good indoor grow. also with auto flowers is it important to use veg light and switch to flowering or can they be used together throughout the grow? please help me do this right.

plan on buying a set of 2 cfl bulbs with reflectors from stealth hydro.... rated at 8400 lumens together, should i use strictly the 6200k's for veg and then switch to the 3000k's for flower or use one 6200k and one 3000k from seed to harvest ... i find this a valid question due to the AF's ability to almost skip the veg stage. more importantly will i need more light than this? since im new to this i am going to start out with one plant at a time so i dont overwhelm myself and to get a good method down. will be doing a close box 24x24x48in . kinda a low budget project... any advice from a more experienced grower would be awesome. Thanks

Has anyone had ak's finish in less than 70 days? Mine are at day 45 and they don't look like they should take another 25 days. Just wondering if anyone here had ak's that finished early. Mine have been under 1200ppm co2 for entire grow. I have some pics on a post from yesterday. Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply businessmen. Some of the smaller plants are starting to get quite a few dark hairs. In your opinion should I just let them go the full 70 days?
