I'm a newb but I did some lowryder 2 in 6 inch pots that have done very well under floros....
On girth.....I'm growing some short stuff Onyx that are much much smaller than Lowryder....very small yet still have fem bud growing on'em.
Autos are my first grow along with some white widow and meds that didn't fare as well as my lowryders. Auto will spoil you with their lack of need of schedules etc...just water and ignore wass great for lowryders.....

Sog with auto's? My expeirence with auto's is to just let them roll, sinse they are on a strict clock, any potentially stressing events should be avoided. I tried sog with auto blueberry, 3 sog method and 3 just let go. The difference on all 3 was a difference of 8-8 1/2 inches of vertical growth. Which obviously cost much budding. WIth non Auto's sog and scrog can be an ultimate arrangement for a skilled grower, but auto's should be left alone, if they stress and stunt you are screwed, no way to make up the time like you can with photoperiodic flowering plants. Just my experience.

Ive read all 132 pages of this thread (a few time!) along with reading every auto post I can find. Ive had my diesel ryders going for 4 weeks now and they wont stop yellowing! maybe you guys can take a look and give me some advise? Thanks guys and happy growing!

Heres a posting I made in the plant problems section.

https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/273942-nitrogen-deficiency-nute-burns.html

Good to see you back Kushy!
Had a look at your other post. My opinion is that you're PH is locking out your nutes, the yellowish tint to your whole plant looks like a zinc deficiency too.
I'm no expert, but I'd give your plants a good flush with your filtered tap water. The PH on mine is around 7-7.5 (I only use PH test strips as never had a problem)

good luck

Thanks Reiss, + rep brotha! Ill take any advice you give me after seeing your results! Hope all is well on your side of the pond.

I was thinking its a PH lockout too. I thought it was from my higher phed home filtered water (7.3 ph) but now i think its from the store bought water with a ph of 6.3 I think the store bought water might be run through a water softener which is bad for plants. Ive thought about the zinc too but the veins dont seem to stay as green as every other example of a zinc deficiency that Ive seen but I will definately look into it. Im starting to think heat stress might be playing a part too because I saw my temp shoot up past 85 a few times the last few days, so I added a little more airflow, got it steady at 76 and the girls are looking much healthier. Also gave them Tiger bloom today at about 25% with a few drops of Grow Big and half dose of Big Bloom. Lets see what happens...

If you've been giving the plant water with different PH, she aint gonna thank you for it!
If it is PH lockout, you can add all the nutes in the world, the plant just won't take them. Give it a GOOD flush, add a bit of organic black strap molasses if you have any and then start adding nutes in small doses.
I see lots of people here spending an absolute fortune on nutrients when they just don't need them. Mostly hype by companies.
I don't feed until about 4 weeks after germination. First 2 weeks they dont need any (with the right soil) and then they get repotted into organic nutrient rich soil so don't need any nutes for a couple of weeks again, after that, just a few ml of veg food / watering. (for non autos).

I only treat my plant to molasses & topmax when she's budding.

I can't see any signs of heat stress, 85 is a little high but not too bad.

Sup people !
Have been thinking how to go about feeding autoflowers, with my first auto grow i didnt feed until the second week into bloom.
This worked well for me just wanted to know how everyone else is doing it, because autos in theory dont have a vegative stage, as soon as they pop up within 10 days they will show their sex so a decent soil will take care of the seedling for that time.

i would say 7 or 8 would be comfy but 10 would be fine, jus dont use massive pots so u can get gd light distribution, as for the fluros use them for 1st week or a little longer but where they only gt 3 wks to veg maximum grwth is desired
