That;s a real hard question to answer cos no one plant is going to be the same. What I do know is you should be pretty safe for 1 week. I think 2 weeks would be an absolute max but I personally wouldn't risk waiting that long and even that might be too long. 2 weeks + and you are easily in the dangerzone. Have never intentionally pollinated my plants... If you want to play it safe... you gotta move those males off to a separate area. If you did accidentally pollinate (I have thanks to some hermis).. actually the bud is still fine to smoke just a little reduced in potency and a bit annoying to have unintentional seeds since they reduce your smokable content as you will know well as a toker. Good weed is good weed though whether with seed or sinsemelia.

Guys, We've got a total newb here. Been daily burner for goin on 20 years, but I NEED to do what you all do. (BTW, I just joined the site & have no idea how to even start a new post about my topic). So lawwwd, please have mercy on me. I have read some posts where nebies got railed for lack of proper posting "etiquette". That bein said, here's my deal: Movin 2 the great NW in less than a year, where I plan to complete my formal indo-hydro education. Right now, I am mainly going off of Dr. Green's video, Cervantes video, & some small roles as an assistant to real deal OG back when I was a teenager. I currently live in an incredibly facist state on the east coast. I need some OG's who know the score w/ these new dwarfs, & also I need suggested specs. for an effiecient operation for approx. 8 mos. (Would love to get 6-8 dwarfs rollin @ once, is that possbile w/ my 400 watt? Also, what is the OG opinion on the feminized auto seeds). As they are about $10 & up per piece. Since I'm such a newb to the art of the hydro, here's is my tentative plan & again any & ALL feedback is appreciated in advance. I am of the opinion from my research that with the proper autoflower strains done right, they will yield me what I need (a qp every 2-3 mos. if I've got approx. 6 rolling @ once). I am working with a 400watt (hps, or mh), & another 400 hps only. Can obtain & build anything similar to Mr. Greens set up myself in a day or two. Have some funds for the good fem. seeds, but don't wanna waste too much due to the newb factor. Wondering if eb&flow, top drip, or deep water culture would be best for the proposed set up above. Also considered the net pot bubblers. Please advise & thanks in advance again! Apologies, again for any improper lingo, nomenclature, or methodolgy presumptions. Hope to be a seasoned vet, soon! Just need to make it to my sweet, sweet OR to let the healing begin!!

Currently growing 6 autos the strain is la diva, blueberry x diavolo and 1 roadrunner.
Just wanted some opinions into weather these 2 look ready. I dont have a microscope to look at the triches properly.

They're getting pretty close... hard to tell form pics cos pistils are not a great way of evaluating maturity.. they may possibly be ready. Without a microscope it's hard to get it right. If you have kept a log of when you started and how long the strain goes for... that should give you an idea as to readiness. Other than following growtime, the best way for you to check is to probably cut a little bit of bud off one of the plants... quick dry it (microwave is fine (though harsh and do in short bursts but don't overdo it) or put some in an airing cupboard on a metallic surface of some kind... normally dries enough within 2-3 hours to be smokable and smooth... could even put on your ballast if you have one).... if the buzz is a v high and no couchlock... then unless you like it that way... it will need a little more maturing. The longer you leave it to mature... the more couchlock it becomes. Once you hit the perfect balance.. it's ready. That's the best way I can think without being able to view the trichs. They're looking good though man.. you must be chuffed. Harvest time is great fun
. A microscope would be agood investment if you can afford it after all that work you already put in. 50%amber/50%cloudy is what I like. G'luck! BTw... let us know how it smokes once you have cured it... I am curious about Il Diavolo... I love blueberry... a damn tasty strain. When I lived in Holland and first discovered it... it became my goto puff... chose it over all the other varieties (though must confess I went on a bit of sampling bender when I first moved there... quickly learnt... when living in Holland some skunks just aren't practical for day to day living (And studying!).

here is a couple of update photos. 46 days of 19/5 lighting. came home today and the odor finally kicked in, pretty strong for a blueberry strain. she is starting to fatten up nicely

Yea the seeds are from attitude, rapid delivery from them!
They are all now at 8 weeks. about what you mentioned with chopping some off and microwaving it i dont agree with that if anything an oven on a low heat would be safer but naturally letting it dry for around a week in a dark place bring out the full potential in the weed for sure.
Anyways have been told to leave them another 5 days to a week then chop em!

I am on my second grow (the first one went bad with bagseed but I learned so much that I am down right cocky now.) Just started six various auto's that popped in 24 hours (a good sign) and looking forward to a great grow with the help of this thread. I will post picks soon. This thread is "da bomb." Thanks!

i currently started a 10 lowryder mix pack and 5 bluryder because of this thread tks all who posted realy exited to see what i get also planning to cross breed the mix pack with the bluryder any thots tks.

Of course letting it naturally dry is the best way!
The point of quick drying is purely and simply for a high test.. it's not about making the most wonderful tasting smokable bud. Drying for 1 week is like proper drying and you could miss your maturity window by the time it's ready! Anyway, whatever works for you dude. Plants looking great. Am sure they will turn out fine. Day 5 from seed of Auto Garden Tub grow. I am going with ebb & flow, CFL, B'Cuzz stonewool starter cubes with B'Cuzz Kubz in 5" x 5" pots. I have planted 3 lowryder #2's, 1 auto lemon skunk, 1 auto blueryder, and 1 auto hindo kush. I am now hooked on this thread so feel free to chime in with any suggestions. Here we grow!
