Autoflower questions

Never grew autoflowering plants before, so I have a few questions. How much light will I need per plant, and/or how many for 4 together? Will 3 gallon dwc buckets be enough for the individual plants to be in? How long realistically should I expect them to take from germ to harvest? How much would you estimate I would get per plant?

Thanks for any replies I've grown photoperiod plants before but sold my lights. I have very little knowledge of autoflowering cannabis though.

What strain?? Time for autos is usually strain specific.

8-12 weeks total growth time. 18+ hours of light per day. for 4 i'd suggest 400w-600w.
3 gallon is perfect.

Yield is also a factor that can be based on your choice of lighting and the strain itself.
Some older ones are lower yielders while some newer ones can get around 3-5oz per plant with 1000w HPS

Strains would be Auto AK and Auto Pineapple Express, Both from G13 Labs. So with those two strains and maybe 400w how much do you think I could yield per plant? Also should I use HPS all the way through or just MH, or change them out after a certain amount of growth?

I got 2.5oz off mine with a 400w. but it was 1 plant 1 light. and the rest is mentioned already.

Damn, man! That Auto AK did nice congratz! Maybe I should put just one under a 400w hps, let it go for about 30 days by itself then start the germ on another, repeat. That way theoretically I could be harvesting one every 45ish days right?

60 day total plant life on the Auto AK.
so if you germed one after 15 days of the first sprout,
and continued to do so you could technically pull one every 45 days after the first 60.

That's a perfect way to use all the light possible to get the heaviest yield from each one. rather that collective yield with 4 under 1 light.. if you did 600w and had 4 in a 5 gallon you could probably get 2oz a piece every 60 days.

I just smoke too much to screw with small numbers anymore. My last 4 plants lasted me 2 and a half months. and now i'm stuck buying it again. until i harvest my auto's and then flip the tent. 48 plants to flower this round.
