Hey everybody, this thread was already started but it got deleted, so I made another one!

Flushing Auto Blue Mystic and bud shots. Yielded 12grams total, rock hard nugs still drying. Fresh bud samples smell like straight up cantaloupe. The stems smell like Chinese food like what has been said over the Internets.

NOT AT ALL MAN!!!! WAIT MUCH LONGER!!! What you should be doing is checking with a microscope (60x-100x) at the leaves with ''crystals'' on them. These ''crystals'' are resin glands that when you see about 25%-50% of them an amber or brown color it will be ready. Also, another indicator will be that the fan leaves will start to turn yellow and die off. When the fan leaves die off and the ''hairs/pistils'' are orange or red, the plant will be very close to being done. I would say you have much longer to go to have the plant ''fatten up''.

As I previously said before...WAIT!!!!! My two remaining girls are almost 8 weeks old. I am going to do my best to not harvest until the end of next week. Basically growing weed sucks if you are impatient. After they are chopped, wait another 4-7 days to dry and THEN....wait another 1-2 weeks to cure the damn buds. LoL!!! BUT, the end product is yours and it's FREE!!! (Besides electricity and seeds : / ) Your plants should look like mine (but taller, because your are) before you even CONSIDER chopping. You gotta have those buds develop and fatten up! You have a lot of trichomes, and even on the fan leaves. Get that microscope out for a look-see at the trichs. Also, sine you have so much vertical growth, your buds are going to be HUUUUGE!!!! I expect an ounce MINIMUM from your plant! Keep up the good work. Also, if you can manage, get a couple more CFL's to fatten up the buds!

I've read people commenting that auto's are harder to grow. What's your take on it lads? Ever tried an outdoor auto?

Hey man your plants are looking good, can't wait to hear how they smoke..
I was just reading on the CFL sub-forum and they say that you should have cfls about 1-2 inches from the leaves, from your photo above, I would say that you could get a bit extra growth and that by moving those lights closer together and the plants higher up nearer the lights.
Just a suggestion man, for your next grow..

That is a great suggestion, and another thing that I have researched is that you can put the plants as close as you can without burning them. A test is to put your hand or finger as close as the plant will be and if your hand is not burnt, the plant will be fine.

I grew 5 so far and as long as you don't stress it too much like over feeding, you should be fine. They really like a lot of good light and also, make sure to keep track of waterings. They aren't too difficult, and I am a first time grower myself. They all turned out quite well. ***Smoke Report*** for Blue Mystic Auto.
Does indeed have a slight berry taste after curing for 1 day (Still curing). Also, very heavy *WHOLE* stone, body buzz and also head in the clouds feelings. Not a knockout strain where you can't do anything. Very useful medicinally. Good sleep afterwards as well.

My Super Cali Haze is looking great, but I REALLY hope we get a GOOD rain tonight, and not just a little shower, as is called for, 'cause I was able only to get out yesterday and see, and get the heck back outta the swamp to check on my others (time and stealth matters eliminated the possibility of anything else). They are lookin' sad :cry:

... they dried out a lot quicker than I could have anticipated, and I can't go and alleviate the situation till mid-week. Thinking of trying a sack of charcoal to filter the swamp water UP to the plants so I won't have to worry about it again. Will definitely be taking as many 2 liter or gallon jugs of good ground water out to stash for them. Will have to really re-think my next grow...Stop by and see the super cali haze update...can't wait till that girl stretches and fattens up her flowers! My buddy is taking real good care of her, of course...

Getting a little crowded.

I finally received after 2 weeks my new auto's.

2x Big Devil #1's and 1x Blue Himalaya Diesel (Giving it another go).

I am also trying something different with the auto's. Since I believe that their grown size

is comparable to the pot size, I put an extra cup in the pot to give it some height. I cut

the bottoms out of the cups and used clothes hangers and other wire to hold them down

into the main pot. I believe that once the taproot hits the bottom, the top of the plant

(branches, leaves, etc) will not exceed the equivalent length of the pot. So by having a

more ''tall'' pot, rather than a ''wide'' pot will make the plant bigger. This is ''in theory''

since there is not ''too'' much information about auto's. Hopefully this will be a good run

since it will be my last for a while. Wish me luck!

my new auto's I got

2x Caramelo's but I ran out of room. They will have to wait until I can start another

grow before they see the light of day...or CFL or whatever. LoL
