Autoflower light schedule ...

So I've got 6 autoflowers (2 EasyRyder, 2 Lowryder & 2 Buddha Syrup) about 2 weeks from seed in my tent. In soil under 600w hps 20/4.
I've just recieved Big Bud Super Skunk (photoperiod) seeds and want to get them going side by side with the autos.

I'm wondering if it would be ok to put the Big Bud in now, so that once they hit flowering, I can drop to 12/12 to cover all my plants..

Basically, would the autos be ok under 12/12 for the last few weeks of flowering?

Hope you get me
Any thoughts welcome

Cheers

They will work under 12/12, but if they are true auto's you'll get significantly better results by keeping them on 20/4. Personally I would just train the Big Bud and veg it until you harvest the Auto's on 20/4.

How significant would you say? A few grams?
My main concern is turning them hermie. Is this possible?

Also, back to the big bud, I don't have the skills/experience to 'train' my plants. This is only my 2nd grow. 1st was autos again and they pretty much took care of themselves :)

I can't give you an exact number but it would certainly be a very noticeable amount. Your plants would be missing a potential extra 8 hours of light every day. It all adds up.

Training is very easy and fun to do. Search around for guides, it will be worth your time and effort. After that if you're still not confident in training the Big Bud to keep it short then go ahead with the 12/12. They won't hermie assuming you keep them under optimal conditions.

wait 3-4 weeks then start ur photos so by the time ur autos r done u can switch to 12/12 and have about a month of veg time for ur photo's...
