Autoflower going into flower at 2 weeks??

What’s up guys I’ve got a 2.5 week old BCN critical auto flower from seed stockers, I went to water the plant today and noticed pistols forming on it already. this is my second attempt first grow and everything was going 1000x better than my previous attempt until I seen the pistols. My question is, is there a chance for this plant to continue growth and get decent yield? Or is the plant going to start producing buds, stay the size it is and give me a gram of smokable tree? Also why does this happen ? I know autoflowers flower on their own but is it a genetics/ breeder issue? Or does this just happen sometimes to autoflowers? I’m growing in 3 gal fabric pots with 600w blurple LED FFOF soil and a 18/6 light cycle. Any input is greatly appreciated. It will still grow. You might have stressed it, I think that can make it flower to soon, or it may be genetics. Normally it flowers 3-4 weeks. It will grow though, believe me. It should see massive growth probably week 3-4. You will get something, dont worry. The light may be an issue though. Is that 600w actual? I have a 600w kingled that is really only a 100w. You can really only have one plant under that thing, and may only be able to pull an ounce or 2. You won't grow a pound your first grow, thats for sure. Keep your goal low at mabe an ounce a plant. My first grow, I had only 15 grams for 3 plants, there was clearly alot of issues, my second grow I got an ounce off two, and now I'm on my third and expecting more! I got a better light. I would consider mabe a 320 watt kingbright.

Thanks for the input. The light isn’t 600w actual the actual wattage is 132 from the wall and this is the only plant under it. And I’m fine with an ounce per plant or less I was just worried it wouldn’t grow a lot more and produce a minuscule yield like 3 grams or something. That’s good to hear it should grow more. Also the plant hasn’t shown any signs of stress I did transplant it but it wasn’t root bound I also used myco and the plant showed no sign of shock it kept growing. I will definitely take a look at that light you recommended thanks.

It should produce more than that. It looks healthy, I dont see why not unless you really fuck up. Hopefully you have only one plant under that light. If you do, you will prob get a better yield than me. I had problems with space to so I couldn't have them directly under the light either . I would say an 1-2 is prob achievable. If you have 4 plants under that light though, good luck. If I were you, next grow invest in a better light. Like I said the kingbright is a great deal and it uses Samsung diodes. Its basically a spider farm without the name. If you have 230 to spend get the 320w. I would use both your lights during flowering though. You can get one big plant with that light, or mabe 4-6. I would say 4 plants you can probably fit under those 2 lights.

You can transplant once. Did you shake it out or press on the sides to lose it up. I would do research into the genetics to see if its common. I would say 3-4 weeks normally. Believe me your plant look nothing like my very first autos that produced only 1.5 grams a plant! I made alot of fuck ups to slowly be a little better . Thats growing, making alot of fuck up and learning from that. Fox farm ocean soil may be to hot of a soil as well. I went to happy frog, and I think I like it better. You could also look into pro mix and build your own soil. For build your own soil I heard that there light soil was pretty good. I wouldnt give any nutes until week four! When you do give nutes only do a quarter potency to start. I just stayed a quarter potency. I had some nute problems, but I focused more on keeping them alive then all the little problems. I probably needed to do half instead of a quarter, but better safe than sorry.

Got it I’ll take a look at that light for my next grow. And yes it’s the only plant under the light in a 24x24 grow tent

Yea I just lightly pressed on the side of the solo and it slid right out, I didn’t touch any of the roots and gently placed it in the 3 gal. I went with FFOF due to a thread I seen on here by an experienced auto grower he used FFOF and just top amended with FFOF after 3 weeks to replenish the food supply it was a much easier and less confusing than the Coco/pearlite mix with GH trio I tried to use on my previous attempt. But you’re right trial and error till you get it right. Thanks for your input

Yes fem autoflowers the strain is BCN critical. Do male plants produce pistils? I thought it was only females
Only females produce pistols unless it a hermie. Then it will produce both genders. You will find that everybody has a different opinion. Some say ffof is the best, others say happy frog, others say its garbage, others say just mix the two, others say to add perlite, the list goes on and on. I would always recomend a soil with a little less nutes than ocean forest.

They produce pollen sacks that can look like pistils. But yeah its flowering. Id guess quarter ounce. This is exactly why i switched to photos.
With only one plant under that light wouldnt you think it would get more, or do you think its because of the premature flowering. I think his may go through a growth spirt sooner, but also end sooner than the other guys.

Also remember to repot in a relatively dark area. The roots don't like light. Thats something I fucked up on this time

The premature flowering is going to hinder its maximum size even if you do everything perfect from here out.

I figured that, but only a quarter is what your thinking? I never had one flower that soon, so what do I know. Ehhh I will be positive and say 3/4 to an ounce. Hopefully you break even
