Autoflower first time

I'm somewhat of a newbie. I've worked for a grower doing a deep water culture system with alaskan climate, around 50 plants with 25 in veg and 25 in flower.
I now live in cali and have a 14ft long by 7 ft tall by 10ft wide area to grow. I want something ez and fast to grow and was thinking about autoflowers.
I thought about getting a 1000watt light setup, lining the walls with mylar, foxfarms with some type of nitrogen powder mixin, digital temp heater. I'm open to any suggestions here. The goal is approx 20-35 plants as i believe i could fit those in there. And i would like to be able to achieve a 15% or better thc and at least 2oz per plant.

THC: All up to the strain. Well...most of it anyway. Most of the reputable seed banks have a search option for "High THC"

Room: That's friggin huge. You could easily grow that many plants in there.

Autos: Good choice for beginners. That's what I grow, in a perpetual tent. I start 2 new plants every 3 weeks, so as they move down the line, I always have 2 plants as seedlings, and 2 that are about to harvest....with 6 plants in the middle stages somewhere. You could do something similar in a room that big on a much bigger scale. You're going to be limited in strains though. Not everything comes in an auto.

Lighting: A 1000w light isn't going to be nearly enough for a room that big. Dig into the lighting subform and do a lot of reading. The HPS Vs. LED debate is a big one. Guys growing monsters on both sides of that argument, so it comes down to personal preference. If you choose LED, there's a whole other debate on DIY Vs. Bought. Get ready for that one too.

Medium: Many MANY people use FoxFarms stuff. There are different kinds depending on what you want to do. Organic Grow Vs. Synthetic nutes. Lots of homework to be done there too. Check out Mr. Kanuks Grow on YouTube. He grows autos and photos, all organic. If you're going that route, watch a bunch of his videos. (They're entertaining too...so spend a few hours there.)

You've got the right room size to do it right. All about equipment, budget, and then gaining a bunch of skill at this point.

You're also in the right place. I've learned a ton here in the 3mos I've been growing. I'm no expert, but I learn every day, and that's what forums are all about...

Good luck!
