Autoflower Consistency of plants

Hi Guys,

I am moving over to Fems at the moment.
Let me tell you why

Autoflowers - There is no consistency even in the same strain.
Ill grow 3 plants and each one will be different. One will get big and yield like 80 - 100 grams
One will be a sickly dud and yield like 25 grams
The Third one will be big but only yield like 60 grams.

I cant seem to get them consistent and i think it may just be genetic.
I feed them and treat them all the same and even within the same strain they just vary wildly each grow.

I grow in Coco with Perlite - flush 1x a week and feed only PH'ed water with Nutrients.
I take great care to monitor the PH and make sure they are happy as can be.

Does anyone have any insight? Will i actually have a better time with Fems?
What im hoping for is Consistency. Im going to be Cloning my Fems going Forward so that
I can get the same plant over and over.

For some people its a negative, for some people its fun. For example I wouldn't like to grow the same exact plant back to back, that would kill almost all of my fun.

Yeah the drawback is that im after average yields.
I want this to be consistent so that i know - Strain X will give me Y grams yield with Z wattage of LED in a certain timeframe.

with the Autos its like... roll the dice and hope for yields

Depends on the breeder too, I see people getting consistent results with Mephisto for example. But if average yields is the goal then going with mother+clone is the obvious choice.
