Autoflower Cage Match: Round Two!

i'm not trying to argue with anyone if you go back you just started attacking me

UPDATE #2:

Auto Mazar at day 8, first week behind her. She is in a local compost I bought at the plant nursery, nothing fancy, keeping it KISS. I have germinated her in a root riot plug and she has only had a 0.5% ratio of plant assist. I think the pot is around 6 litres, not sure but either way it will be plenty space for her roots. She has been under the 550W LED since germination at a distance of about 30 inches. I have a few mother plants surrounding her. Temps are around daytime 73-75' and 68-70' at night with 50-60% RH at all times.

The LED is set to veg cycle right now, I plan to use this spectrum till she shows sex then revert to full spectrum for the next 5-6 weeks and then pure flower red spectrum for the last 1-2 weeks of her flowering life. Based on @dutchpassion's info I expect her to finish around week 9-10.

Hahahaha yeah I used to live in Transkei, in the same place as you now. My folks own half of South Broom so it's kinda local although we are originally vaalies who came down to impoverish the local Margate massive even more LOL. Never really liked the South Coast clique.

uk rocks apart from the outdoor ops the weather never really good enough, i would like to see led setup i have seen some grows but the bud has been mainly fluffy,an most were with ufo led light,do you use any additional lighting cfl,flouro's etc???

You are embarrassing me and pissing all over this community activity. I have to say again that many people will come to The Cage for information years from now and all they will see is unwanted opinions and senseless arguing that accomplishes nothing.

I have been PM'ed by multiple people (contestants and non-contestants alike) to kick a few of you out of The Cage. I do not want to do this, but it is bringing me unwanted and unneeded stress.

Now, I have to take time and go through this thread and PM an admin to ask them to remove all your bickering.

This is the last warning...stop arguing and only post about YOUR grow or you will be disqualified and asked to leave.

Well there are some really good 12/12 strains you could employ outdoors here, they are bred specifically for northern summers, try "red dragon" and "early biddy". They work well but be careful as they get 6-8ft tall.

I have only had the LED for about a month now and only used to veg the moms, I will wait till the 2 flower rooms are done then do a side by side comparison to see if it really compares to the 600's. But I will say that this 550 really cannot be compared to any ufo, very different.

When I stay in the mom room under the lights, the thing seriously gives me a headache because of the UV so it feels really strong, but maybe that's just in my head...we'll see though.

As a veg light though she is superb, and no there are no need for any other side lighting etc. This panel is a big boy!!

I'm sure if everyone cuts the shit then we can all stay in the competition and all will be happy. @Kulong try to give the relevant people a second chance to show they mean well and have stopped the bickering, banning competitors will only harm the cage match and our attempts at an autoflowering information based thread.

is it the sg-02 or the quantum stealth light i was looking at the kessil lights but they say you need 16 of them to add up to the quantum 600w,too much moola for 1 light, thanks for tip with red dragon an early biddy ,i've tried a few outdoors northen lights white widow an some kush but they was like the smallest buds i ever seen admitingly they were rock solid buy they was left out there for months planted in april harvested in october,they only reached a hieght of about 1.5 metre the royal kush got eaten by rabbits or some other wild creature, i brought a couple from pick n mix this year 2 pounder by kiwi bank for this year going to clone em to make a few more,just got to lug all bat shit chicken poo up there,

Okay this thread needs to be about autos not LED's so let's refrain from discussing LED in here, if you want to talk send me PM's and I'll answer any question you have.

if i was to use the pollen from a male auto to pollenate a female regular strain say ak-47off the top of my head) or the other way round male ak-47 pollen with female auto would the seeds be auto still or do you have to do auto's with auto's??? , i understand that you carry certain traits from each plant but is there a way to say that female auto carrys auto genes or am i way off topic???

im not sure if the autoflower trait is dominant or recessive when it comes to breeding, if dom... it should be ok to assume some
will end up autos but if its recessive, it may be alot harder to single out the autoflower trait.

I know very little about breeding but I would assume that only once you have crossed them then flowered out the resultant cross will you get an answer. You may need to back cross the resultant with a ruderalis again to instill the auto trait.

I'm sure the breeders bible will answer that though....
