I just put a Roadrunner in the ground last night man. Any quirks about them so far?
I haven't really noticed any quirks with the roadrunner compared to the other auto's that I have going. In fact my roadrunner looks a lot better than the haze auto that I started at the same time. I have some purple mazar autos that I started about 3 weeks earlier, and they were about the same size at the same age. But that is the extent of my knowledge on autos (other than what I've read on here)
The one quirk I have noticed about autos in general is how slow they start out. It seems like it takes them a long time to get growing vigorously. Maybe something is wrong with my technique, but I have had non auto seeds start out a lot faster.
I will post a detailed update in a couple days, my plant doesn't look much different than my last up date.

How long has it taken other people's plants to show sex? With my mazars I had one group take exactly 3 weeks and another group take exactly 4 weeks. The wierd thing is that both groups showed sex on the same day, after my timer malfunctioned and left them in the dark for about 16 hours. Even though one group was a week older. has anybody ever tried to "trick" their autos into flowering?

Your right about the slow starting…… however the Roadrunner so far has been a tough little bitch! I'm surprised how well she came round from a very low ph soil, when the Bubblicious shrivelled up and was stunted for twice as long with the same problem. I have 8 different types of auto's they all started slow, when compared with an non auto that is now 3 times as big at the same age.

My Roadrunner showed her pre-flowers at 16 days, but at this time I was having the problems, so I reckon I missed a good week of optimum growth, however its now at full bloom at 38 days in, with 35 days or so left. I feed her Ionic bloom and boost at the E.C of 1.2 with 2 litres of filtered luke warm water of ph 7.0 (waiting for a new meter) every 48 hours when soil is dry, yes she is a thirsty girl! 35 days in and the small leaves around the buds are now showing THC, I have Lollipopped her as the lower smaller branches were over shadowed by the top, there seams to be one main cola with 2 secondary colas either side, but with many other branches with good bud formation developing, I believe/hope she has done all of her stretching now, just waiting for her to fill out more, plenty of time yet, The smell is the sweetest I’ve smelt for a long time, sort of skunky, which doesn’t over power the grow room as of yet lol.

The babies are just about standing up already.

Should I be switching the color spectrum right away or let them run under the 6500K for a week or so?

The lights are already on a 20/4 cycle and I plan on using that throughout based on what I've read in this thread.

Just picked up some Molasses today i will be feeding that to my plants, throughout veg and flower, might pick up some other organic ferts but i herd that the blueberry dosn't like too much fertilizer. also trying to go over to the more organic side of growing rather then chemicals, so any advice is welcome and Greatly appreciated.
baby is still looking small, but its only been a like 6 days since it was planted, ill get more pics up tonight hopefully.
lets see some photos from some more people, i think theres a cupple contestants that haven't posted any pics yet id like to see
there progress,

Hey Zen, how do you apply that molasses to your soil. Honestly, I'm not even sure if you guys are using powdered molasses, or the syrupy kind. lmao. So some help and info on that would be awesome.

I Use the syrup kind of molasses, never seen powdered? not sure if it would work, but i just take a teaspoon of molasses and mix it with a 2L bottle of water shake it well, and just water the plants with it.
Makes A Big Difference in Flower Buds swell fairly big,

(Molasess is a "secret" ingredent in most organic nutrients.)

molasses is a good source of micronutrients and mainly, it feeds your microbes.

i've never seen anything comprehensive/empirical that shows it increases bud size.

lol, I had no idea if it was in powdered form or not, I just assumed it would be(shows my lack of knowledge). Maybe I should...hmmmm. Thanks for info. I'll look into getting some. What would the ratio be for an eight inch pot. Roughly one-gallon of FFOF.

You Don't Think that if your feeding the microorganisms in the soil your plant is in more Carbohydrates(sugars) giving energy to the various forms of microbes wouldn't in turn improve your plants progress in anyway?
i didn't Exactly mean they "magically" swell up due to molasses i was just saying Ive had luck(more buds, a nicer aroma, all around nice taste) with growing with molasses then not..
was just sharing my experience with someone who asked me about it.
gotta Love when people Just jump on anything someone my have wrote incorrectly while possibly a little too high :bigjoint::clap:

woah, i wrote two sentences, and to be fair, you're being a bit preumptious. i never said that i didn't think feeding the microbes would improve progression. i didn't think i had to specify because i felt that was needless to say. of course you're improving your soil greatly by feeding the microbes... i never said otherwise. in fact, feeding your microbes will help them break down fertilizers and make nutrients more readily available for uptake. and yes, "gotta Love when people Just jump on anything someone my have wrote incorrectly while possibly a little too high :bigjoint::clap:"

and by saying "i've never seen anything comprehensive"... that's exactly what i mean, i have not seen anything comprehensive. there wasn't any hidden message and i wasn't saying anything at all towards you and you're claims.

The cobra looks good, I have a seed, planning on using it next year. I thought it would be taller though. Molasses would benefit your grow for sure. You can do without it, but it helps your soil environment, in turn helping your plant. If you can get it, why not?
