Autoflower. Better to leave rootbound or transplant?

As the title says.

Just for future reference would it be better to transplant a root bound auto or leave it in a smaller pot.

I know it might vary depending on the stage so let's say if it was in the 1st week of flower.

What's the medium? If running coco just leave it and feed it more often

I was asking for a friend. It was coco. He was feeding it twice a day, if it was coco you would recommend more than twice a day?

As often as he likes will work, if he ups it to 3-6 it will do better than at 2.just make sure it doesn't dry out too much, keep it like 90% wet at the least. Basicly root bound in coco is great if you can keep up with the feeding and not letting it dry out, it's how Im pretty much growing now
