Autodosing "UC Roots" or H2O2 w/ aquarium doser?

Has anyone setup an autodoser to add oxidizers to their res water? I've seen dosing schedules for both H2O2 and UC Roots (I know I can't use both at the same time) and was wondering if the water needs the shock factor of the high/low cycle of these oxidizers or if I can just maintain a somewhat stable concentration w/ autodosing?

e.g., if dosing for a solution dictates 6ml of solution every 3 days, can I just add 1ml every 12hrs or 0.5ml every 6 hrs with an autodoser?

Trying to make my system as low-maintenance as possible.

I dont see why not, but there are a couple of things to keep in mind.

Normally H2o2 and chlorine both dissipate - more or less slowly depending on the amount of aeration - over that amount of time. So the concentration starts out hi and tapers off to almost nothing. I suspect you could get by with a significantly reduced dosage doing it your way. You need to be careful to keep from damaging the roots, but you should be safe if you keep it at 4 PPM max.

Id try it and just keep an eye on the plants and roots at first until you see how they handle it.

My roots haven't even gone past the net pot yet so I got time to figure this out. The more research I do, the more stuf I wanna buy... LOL
