Auto watering? Going on Vacation

Hey RIU,

I’ll be going on trip for about 5 days and I want to make sure my babies don’t die. I have 2 babies that will be in week 6 flower when I leave and I have a veg clone of each of them(so 2 clones).
The flowering gals are in 5 gal fabrics
The veg clones are in 1 gal plastic pots
They are in separate veg& flower tents( I can move the tents to be side by side)
What are my options? I would like to stay low budget I don’t have much money. I don’t have many tools(at all) but I would still like to DIY if i can.
EDIT: My budget is really low like $20-30

I made/use one of these for while on vacation.
works well. Bit of a bitch getting them tuned but if you only have a couple plants it may be an option.

Make some sub irrigated planters or buy some they are amazing!

You can read through it. You don’t need a drum like that. I got a 15gal plastic tote at Ace for $9 .
*look into bluemats also

A few years ago, I had to go out of town for three weeks. I used a few Blumats, and things were fine when I got back.

It’s not ideal but you can fill up 5 gallon pails of water one for each plant try to keep them higher or the same level as the plants.put a rope or string from the bucket into the soil. Will slowly wick to the plant.
Better than nothing.

Or get someone you trust to water them like 2-3 days into your trip
