Auto strain that will veg under 24 hrs of light?

About 12 years I got a cut from a friend that he called the early paul. I know this is not a known strain, maybe it was really the early pearl or early nepal, but thats what he called it. Anyways, the cut would veg under 24 hrs of light but as soon as you put it outside (or cut to 18/6) it would flower. That was awesome because you could veg them up indoors to a decent size and then toss em outside and they'd be done in eight weeks. I would put em out and crop out in july, august september etc... So what are some known strains that are available that exhibit this characteristic?

Auto strains have really come a long way the last few years. They get better and better. I personally like Dinafem autos the best. But, I don't have much experience with the countless other varities. Dinafem XXL auto genes, Amnesia, white widow etc will give the best yield. And it doesn't matter what light period you use. 12/12, 18/6, 24/0 they will all work. But, the consensus is 18/6 is the best. The Amnesia XXL auto is Sativa Dom so it will take 12-13 weeks start to finish. It's awesome smoke tho. A roadrunner auto can be done in 8 weeks with a decent yield and decent smoke. Sweet seeds and Worlf of seeds are other breeders I would recommend but, I think Dinafem are the best ive tried.

If you have to change the light cycle for it to flower its not an auto, so you won't find an auto with that characteristic. If you have an auto inside under 24/0 it will flower, usually start to see preflowers week 3-4. It will still flower if you put it under less light but its recommended to be at least 18/6.

@GrowUrOwnDank i appreciate the response. i'm interested particularly in a strain that i can keep in a vegging state during a 24 hr light period, but will immediately flower once the photoperiod is less than that. maybe this wouldnt be considered a true auto, but i thought you auto enthusiasts would be a likely source who would know.

Did you grow the amnesia xxl outside? what type of yield did you get off of her? if i can't find exactly what i'm looking for i may settle for some of the longer start to finish autos.

I grew indoors. About 3 oz. it's just awesome smoke. Worth the extra time in my opinion. Some of the other Dinafem XXL autos like White widow may be more indica and faster. I don't know, I haven't tried them. They could grow outside tho. As long as the conditions are right. Dinafem genes are just Hardy rock solid genes.

Look up aurora indica 18/6 grow flowering some guy posted about that a few months back

You can run autos 24/0 all the way through,if you want to minimize stretch.Autos flower on a time table they are not technically photosensitive,thats what makes them autos.

Sorry the bring back man old thread, but I pretty much exclusively grow autos anymore.

I prefer Dinafem genetics aswell. I have three of the white widow Xxl's growing now. Another one of my favorites is trans Siberian.

You should look at mephisto genetics if you want autos.Seriously.
