Auto not gaining any height

I started growing an auto-fem "Afghan Mass" (Afghan x Critical Mass) from seed on 4/22/13 and its only about 3 inches tall... It is my first time growing and im very confused why its not getting any taller. Its growing several leaves every few days. It looks very healthy besides the height issue. I went ahead and started growing another plant (non-auto) on 5/24/13 and its already around 4 inches tall. I have the auto on an 18/6 light cycle. Any suggestions? The lights are about a foot above the plant because i was trying to stretch it out but nothing seems to be working.

whats your soil and light setup ?
usually when you post a problem its a good idea to post what and the main thing is HOW your growing

Most folks here will tell you that you haven't given enough information. Soil? If so, what kind? What is your feeding schedule? Watering schedule? What is your lighting system? What kind of environment are they in? (I know nothing about indoor growing). I'm guessing others will chime in with advice if they have enough info to diagnose the problem. And pics help.

Sorry i forgot to include that, Im using "Garden Safe" All Purpose Organic Potting soil. I couldn't find anything better local so i decided to give it a try. And for lighting i now have it under a crappy led and two 23 watt CFLs. (I originally had it under two floresent 40 watt tubes with four 23 watt CFLs but I wanted to put the new plant on a 24/0 light cycle so i had to improvise) I wasnt sure what light cylce to put them on if i had them together under the same lights.

mix the soil you bought 50/50 with perlite this is partially for drainage and to cut the strength of the nutes in the soil down

and put some more light on the situation
i run atleast 2 of the 68w 2700k for each plant
ive had plants the same age as your auto with fan leaves as big as my hand
and when i started my auto's were tiny too

Alright thanks for the help tekdc911. Do you think i should put both plants under the original set-up and run both plants at 18/6, 24/0 or just keep them separate for now?

and start 1/4 str bloom nutes when vertical growth stops not at preflower
and look in to "low stress training"

cfl's are really only effective when you get them closer then 1 foot
if there growing then give them what ever light you got for now
let them dry out the auto is probably to stunted to be worth it honestly they only have 1-2 months to veg and cant recover really

You should run your lights 24 hrs until your at about your last 3 to 4 weeks, & then cut the light back to 20 hrs. I having a height issue myself, but mine are less than a month old & already super bushy & full of buds. I grow the 2 strains all the time & the way they look is like their 2 months old except for the height & I believe my soil isn't draining good enough. Autos are wonderful, but cant take all the stress that a photo can because of their short life span. I would put your lights a bit higher, & let your soil dry out some.
