Auto Northern lights, Master Kush pics so far

wassup guy got a nice pic of my auto Nl today, camera is crap so just showing you this.


Lights - 250w 2700k cfl in reflector, some side lighting of 85w 6400k and 20w 6400k for another plant.

Biobizz allmix, and biobizz grow, bloom and topmax does the trick,

I try and keep my ph at 6.1-6.6

18/6 light cycle

I water ever 4-6 days depending if the soil is dry or not.

I also have a small 6 top master kush lst'd its looking good.
Master kush is in 7l pot, auto nl is in 11l pot inside another 11l pot since the roots need a little more space.


Auto NL - 28 or 29 days into flower

Master kush 6 tops - 19 or 20 days into veg (it was a seedling for about 2-3 weeks i started counting veg after that.) i have dates written down somewhere but im not to bothered untill flower thats when i start the real count.

Are those Royal Seeds Nothern Lights Auto? And how hot does that 250w get? And does it work good?

I dont know what breeder the seed came from, it was a freebee on seaofseeds. The 250w stays pretty cool, its hot if you touch it, but if you have a fan on it you can hold it all day. i can safley say that i can keep it 1-3 inches away from the top of my plant with no signs of stress, i usuall keepit at around 3 inches above my plant. one thing is if you buy a cheapo reflector online like i did, the bulb weighs it down i was afraid it was going to break, but its fine so dont panic if you think you are gonna wake up with a 250 watter smoking your plants for you. I have a 90cm by 90cm by 5foot tent and if i keep the 250w on with no extraction fans it stay at around 75-80f.
And yes the 250w cflworks great, well way better than i thought. Remember if you are going with cfl's add another week or so to the flowering time, as they are a little slower than HID lights.

Im trying to decide which lights would be better for me, 2 150cfls (1 in 2700 and 1 in 6500) or a 1' 4 bulb fixture with 2 bulbs of each color. If I did the CFLs I would make my own fixture and reflector. Its probably just going to be for 3 autos at this point in a cab 34"Long x 54"High x 14.75"Deep but i would want to upgrade eventually to a bigger cab

nice..ive got some auto NL's going as we speak that are 10 days from seed......my question to you is...you said 28-29 days into flower?..do you mean from the time they started showing flowers or from seed?..how many days total since seed in the dirt? ......18/6 since seed or did you have a dif light schedule?

i think they are close to 60 days from seed, im on my laptop now and the exact dates are on my pc, anyway i wrote down 50 somthing days on jan 1st so yeahalmost 60 days from seed, i started for the first month or so on 24/0, and i count flowering from the first day i see pistols.

I have no experience with t5like fixtures. One problem with the cfls is that if you dont keep your plants bushy (topping fimming etc which you cant do on autos) then they will soon outgrow the bulb, if you want to keep them close anyway because the bulbs aren't long enough to support 2 or 3plants. Its hard to explain but i hopeyou get what i mean.

By the looks they have ATLEAST 2 weeks left..maybe 3 ? ...so bacially i can expect the NLs will be 75-90 day autos from seed to harvest...

Yeah man, but remember i have transplanted my auto 2 times now, and im also using cfls's so mine will be a little slower to finish, i dont know if you have stressed your plants a little like me but that will add another week or 2 to the finishing of the plant. Under optimal conditions it may finish faster.

- i also read the auto nl can flower for 5-7 weeks if that helps any, i am just going to go by trichome production/ using a loupe for my plants.
