Instead of daily pic posting il be posting a weekly round up of the week as multiple posting on multi fourms takes abit of time..lol

day 7

So far good results since i changed the grow a tad an im starting off in 6.5L pots this time around!
Also since the weather outside seems more warmer im hoping that will help the twins :)

yes i have noticed one is the runt of the litter, so i switched the pots around to see if if the shy one catches up. either way today day 7 all is looking well an so is the weather outside yayy!!!!!!!!!

p.s also weekly round up pics because uks summer sun is unpredictable so kitty gonna try to get some decent sun bathing!

p.p.s gotta give me big borther credit on here even if hes not on here, since hes the one who does the hard work for me an i relax with snapping pics an posting on all fourms.

toodles

I like how you showed a side by side comparison for each day. They are coming along nicely :)

Nice one! Comparison pics are good - they did some nice growth btw days 6 and 7. I'll be very interested to see how this goes as I've got some of these seeds on their way and am planning to do a similar grow with 2 of them, 130 CFL and a small grow space. Peace.

Everything I say is fictional, mearly intended to gain a characters frame of reference for a book I am writing.

ty lady j!
as i grow them side by side its all a simple case of getting the right distance with me camera to fit them both in, which may become a fun challenge later as they bush out since the orignal miss NL kept filling my entire camera screen on her own lol

ty ancientmeanings!
auto NLs do grow pretty quick when they get settled in, link below you can see them in action upto day 25

i had a fun time trying to fit into a picture without zooming in which would of effected my picture quality. so as these twins slowly age they will be a bit of a handful to keep in a side by side picture but im happy to try to keep with the side by side picture snapping if i can mange it.
----------------------

I will be posting the next week of twin update pics in the next few days when i have a tad more time as im summer cleaning my flat and decluttering which is taking quiet sometime with the help of the WONDERFULLY challenging british summer we have been recieving the last few days!

downside to my brother being kept in hopsital is that hes the one who knows when the twins will be needing to be repotted into the 11 litre pots...

and hes does all of the manual work like feeding, potting an/or repotting...

and with that being said, he was in no fit state to tell me when the repotting is needed to be done (also impossible to talk to me when poice been at his bedside with a gazillion questions about his attackers)so im facing a huge challenge ahead of me here. so ive a few questions and muchly need best answers i can get of my fellow thc growers!

1. at what point will i no when the twisn will be needing to be repotted???

2. any helpful tips for me as this is what my bro usual does and as i said its all down to me this time an im kinda worried i may screw it up so trying to get as much info about repotting as possible before its to late so im prepared incas ei do hae to report them both.

between visiting his daily and collage stuff ive no time when im done to get any researching in as im busy busy busy but im gonna try taking a day off collage to get the twins rehomed when i no exactually when they need moving.

so any tips will be greatful!!!!!

I was just about to ask you for an update...that's awful what happened to your brother! I am glad he came out of that one on top, and that he's ok! As for re-repotting, you can gently lift your plant out of it's container when the soil is dry and check the roots out. When you are starting to see a significant amount of roots around the sides, it's time to move up.

Here is a picture of a plant that is root bound.

**You don't want to let your plants get to being root bound before transplanting if it can be avoided. If this happens, transplant as soon as you notice it.

In my personal opinion, they could stand to grow a little more in there without issues...but they are also big enough to be moved, which will save you from having to worry about transplanting in the future.

uk weather was kinda cold today, but the twins are coping great!

i usually would have added nutes to the last feed by now, but since the last feed was a few days ago when i repotted im gonna wait until the soils more dry as the pots weight shows there still plent of water for a few more days so nutes will be added with the next feed.

on the plus side summer maybe dry colder an icky but we got some much needed raining which is good for the cold outdoors

*Pistils, but yep looks like you got a girl! Just be careful when you switch to 12/12 about light leaks. Sometimes the plants don't hermie, but light leaks are the main cause besides genetics.

yessss ty for kindly confirming them Cloudz2600!

I was planning to keep the lighting on 18/6. other than the cost of electric being reduced, would 12/12 be much difference for auto NLs?

as for lighting leaks, i doubt any lights would reach my grow carboard since it backs onto a room which never sees light unless its day time an if i ever open the curtains during the day.

Oh my bad I totally missed the part where you said they were autos. Keep it at 18/6 and light leaks don't matter for autos.
