Auto jock horror(nirvana) question

Alright, so I'm a first time grower and I'm currently growing 2 bubblelicious and 2 jock horrors (all will be 3 weeks old tomorrow) under the same 400w mh light in soil. I've heard that the jock horrors don't auto flower or there is a chance that it won't auto flower correctly. My question is if I have to switch to 12/12 in order to induce flowering will it negatively effect anything?

you shouldnt need 12/12 18/6 gives the push needed usually ive heard nirvana needs a kick start but not a full 12/12 never grown it just hear say

i go 24/0 and then switch to 18/6 after the preflowers show and the plant goes back to veg

Ok so now I'm currently at 20/4 for my lights, and I'm at the point where I should start seeing preflowers right? What should I change my lights to? And is that a permanent change then or do I just switch it til I see flowers then switch it back?

if your running 20/4 you should be fine if not cut it back it should preflower 20 days or so if you want it small start light bloom nutes if you want it a little larger wait till it starts zig zag growth on lower branches and starts stretching to switch over they take longer to finish but ehhh

preflower is in the "veg" stage then it keeps growin for a couple weeks after

i've heard some horror stories about nirvana think of it this way if you get this grow right then you will have a really good head start i dont know personally but just from the research ive put in i couldnt bring myself to buy any . then from the grows that worked out and have smoke reports nirvana sounds amazing good luck

Ya I read that It's crazy good smoke, mine did preflower right at day 20, all 4 of em!
