Auto Flowering Hybrid question

I orderd some auto ak47 x auto blueberry from attutude about 9 years ago when I ordered it said hybrid, I was thinking that meant that if i was to breed them that they would have various charicteristics such as being tall or various flowering time,, but Ive bred them every year and they always turned out fine, just as the ones purchased... Now im thinking about ordering a new variety,, does hybrid even mean they will have various growth charicteristics or is it just something the site labels them as to keep you buying more instead of breeding your own??

it has been bred into a indica , sativa or both and the auto trait stabilized
and then crossed with another auto
