Auto flower LST help

Guys this is a fem autoflower northern lights x big bud from seedsman. I am experimenting with LST on an auto. My question is to me it looks bunched up and kinda too "compact" think I should nip off a few of the major fan leaves to allow more light Penetration to the notes. Its 3 weeks old in 3g smart pot ffof soil. T5 lights

You shouldnt be doing anything to an auto. Every bit of stress you put them under will effect yield immensely. You have been told this in one of the other 97 threads you started. Im beginning to think you dont read or absorb whats being said.

I've never posted about an auto BC this is the first auto I've grown and I've read LST is the only thing u can do to an auto and that it helps.

From my experience I never like to top or trim the autos unless it is for lolipopping right before flower.

I would recommend using some light LST and just bend the taller branches away from the middle to let the smaller ones grow up to the top!

That is what I have done no topping just bent down the main stalk but it just seems overcrowded. You think I should just leave it alone and let it stretch out on its own

If you look over in the auto flower section you will see I am trying the pony tail method on a plant now. I've never done it and figured I would try it out.

Pinch in between the topmost nodes to slow them down to allow lowers to catch up. This is the only way to try to even the canopy but without topping (which as it's been said you shouldn't ever do with autos) you'll always get that Xmas tree shape. Bend the top main stem & pull off any of the bottom growth that's getting shaded out but that's about all you can do with autos. You've got limited time before pistils emerge then stop doing anything except maybe some gentle pinching in between topmost nodes (supercropping) 2 weeks into bloom but then back off & let them do their thing.

Never pull healthy fans; only the dead ones or leaves suffering under deep canopy until the final week or 2 before chop. That goes for all reg photoperiod plants too. They will stretch out a bit though autos typically grow tight & bushy which is why they yield out so nicely...
