auto doesnt smell?

Hey guys I'm growing two auto lemon haze plants both have really nice fat buds on them but they don't smell? I mean they do when I rub the leaves buy if I smell the bud nothing. Is it light damage? Maybe it will smell more later in the cycle?

Hm could be the opposite of light damage; not enough light? If it was too hot you would notice wilting on the leaves. And it could be the smell hasn't just picked up yet, maybe its not a very aromatic strain, and maybe some of these things are compounding eachother. But will need more information to properly assess

Thanks guys I got both plants under a 250 watt hps so I know its enought light, plants are bushy and buds are huge and getting bigger each day. I think it might smell later in the cycle though I mean I expect a strain mixed with silver haze and lemon skunk would smell lol

Smell, odor, bugs me all the time, sometimes I go in there and it is stout, other times smellls like hay. I asked a few months back and I guy gave me a link explaining whey they do and why they dont. Cant find the link or I would share. Maybe just google it a few ways to read.

I've been trying to find one man and I know lol I want really stinky buds. I read some bud just doesn't have an odor buy tastes great hopefully that's the case

Some strain are almost odorless, smell isn't a very reliable way to evaluate a plant, Northern light #9 is a killer weed yet her smell is very discrete.
