Aurora Project - 303 Seeds

didn't know if they would be any good or not .... tough to work 30+yr old seeds that weren't stored in the best of conditions, figured if anyone could, you'd be the one ;)

i was hoping to call u this weekend, but this cold has been killing me. it's winding down now, hopefully be good to go in a couple days.

can't wait to see the monster pheno in hydro! and the jet fuel, and the bio-diesel and and and...

I'm going back for the 12 pack of shooting star possibly, it was a struggle not buying a 12 pack of it and settling for the freebie 6 pack.

Nice haul man! That G-funk is on my list for sure. Looks like all you are missing is the Train, Patrol, Goddess and HGH. :hump:

I'm only needing two other strains to have 3 keeper strains, the one keeper I have right now is the mob boss, it's not by 303, grindhouse I think put them out as seed, I bought the clones from a guy on craigs, haven't seen his ad running for 3 months after seeing it weekly.

which leads me to believe he may have had legal problems, he was real easy to deal with, he'd even have you over to his home for the deal.Said he was turning 80 a week and that was at 25 bux a pop, talking coin.

craigslist is full of it ... good, bad, cops/narcs .... I'll stick with my legal routes :)

got off topic a little but had I taken the legal route that particular strain (and I'm sure you're familiar with it) would have cost me 3 to 4 times what it did and the clones were horrid looking. back on topic........Go 303!!

say, I consider this the most current 303 thread, you don't seem to have just a ongoing 303 thread but should! so my question, the grape ultra 12 pack I bought last week is labeled "packed for 2012" does this mean I'll need to crack them all before the first of the year or what? the freebie packs don't have a date listed. I'm wondering if percentage of germination is reduced after that.

the date is the year it was made for reference. you've seen pre-98 Bubba ... there is a reason why it's 99% clone only strain, the 1% remaining seeds are hoarded. seeds can last 10, 20 ... 30+ years and still be viable. as a general rule, I find they loose vigor to pop after 10-15 years. up to 5 years you are certainly golden. I have some from @1999 that I popped last year (old Sagarmatha mixes I played with + some mountain man beans).

from a seed whore's perspective .... I try to keep a few of everything stashed for long down the road ....... you never know when it's 10 years later and everyone wishes they kept that "one" strain ......

that long eh? damn. the woman (she's a widow of long ago) has some mexican that was her husbands , she's kept it for .....fuck I dunno sentimental reasons or something, I should grab a few seeds and grow it out!

could have been the good columbian gold bud days even, some of that stuff was pretty damn good, funny the thc content was single digit in most cases, I liked it.

hell I'm just trying to work on 3 different strains I consider must have, one atm is the tang tang x chemdawg now I need two more. I suspect one will be the 303 biodiesel and who know which other, I think I overbought :/

the older they are, the tougher, and most folks don't keep em in ideal conditions. if you try to pop em, look up methods of helping old seeds germinate first. they can be tougher for sure and sometimes need an expert hand to convince them to live

You won't have any problems germing seeds for the next few years out of our stock if you keep them in their inner seed container in a cold, dry spot.

We're required by the CO Dept of Agriculture to label the seeds that way.

Good question, and nice stash of 303. I think you'll have trouble deciding on which strain to keep. :weed:
