Can someone explain why they took Aunt Jemima off the bottle? I know they say it's for equality but, in all honesty - I need an explaination

“Aunt Jemima” was a minstrel show character developed during the mid-1850s by a white male in blackface (yes, that same blackface which has embarrassed so many of our modern politicians) dressed as a black woman, designed to entertain white audiences.

WOW! Welll that makes sense. Thanks 4 that I did a search and all I saw was some equality bs but nothing on the blackface.

Took them quite a while 2 present a solution to that... Honestly I don't think anyone would ever know that if they never brought it up...
