ATTIUDE Shipment came today......with one Crushed freebie seed.

I received my Attitude shipment today and one of the Freebie seeds was totally crushed.

The Short Stuff Seeds Super-Cali Haze (super auto) came stapled to a UFO Business card with the other 2 freebies from Short Stuff and was crushed (no damage from the staple).It was the only seed with damage and it was behind the other 2 seeds.It was also wrapped in the t-shirt I had ordered.The seed had to be damaged leaving their warehouse.There wasn't any damage to the inside packaging (small bubble wrap envelope) or outside packaging. Hmmm.....

The advanced Seeds Sweet Dwarf looks like it was opened then stapled closed also.No biggie,as long as the seed enclosed is the Sweet Dwarf.

I'm not sure if I should contact them to see if they would send another Super-Cali Haze (super auto) Freebie?
Or is it a waste of my time?

What do you guys think?


I did pay for the guaranteed shipping. I'd love another seed,but don't want to pay any additional shipping.

The Good News....It only took 6 busniess days to get to me in the U.S.

its a waste of time imho.. what did you loose? a free seed.. write off the seed and be happy that you got your order, unlike my last order from the tude that i opted not to get the quarenteed delivery on because my last order the mailman almost sent back because he said i wasn't home to sign for the package even though i was laid off at the time and home almost everyday..

Ya really, be glad your stuff came in a timely manner and be glad we are even lucky enough to receive seeds at all. Don't sweat it. Could have been a lot worse

I'm happy overall (1st time ordering from them)...just sucked to have a squished seed..LoL.
At least it was just a freebie.I didn't mean to sound ungrateful..sorry if I came off like that.I have no problem forgetting about the seed.Was just curious if this has happened before to anybody and if they tried to recoup the seed.Its all good and Thanx again for the quick responses.

sorry ment to add i contacted them and they said they would replace the seed and refund any postin costs too so happy days just am to wrecked to be arsed to post it back lol

I disagree a bit. Sure, be happy with what you got, and I wouldn't even be upset with them. Shit happens constantly. But, free or not, you paid for that seed. Plus you used a guaranteed shipping method. I would send them an email with one of your pictures telling them what happened, how you are happy with their service, and that you understand things happen. Just ask them if they would send another

That sux...its even the super cali haze....that free seed alone was why I wanted to order during that promo....

I think I'll send them a quick email to see if they'll send me another seed.If they do...Great and if they don't...No big deal.
I might as well try....the worst they can do is say no.

I ended up emailing Attitude and telling them about the seed.

Here's their reply:

I often send peyote seeds to the US. Their postal machinery frequently smashes seeds protected by bubblewrap to fucking DUST!! I now send anything in a box, so don´t necessarily blame it on Attitude.

Hi Spanishfly, I can't say 100% that the seed got crushed at Attitudes.And I understand that the postal service has machines that sort mail.But when I received my package there wasn't any damage to the outer or inner packaging.The seed that was crushed was in the middle of the rest of the seeds (18 seeds) and in a bubble wrap envelope then inside a t-shirt.So that's 4 things the seed was encased with .Just seems like if it was crushed in transport that there would be more damage to the other seeds and packaging as well.Just my guess...I know the postal machines squeeze the packages.The package was packed really well when I received it.I can't see how none of the other seeds or merchandise weren't damaged at all.

since i paid extra for guaranteed shipping, they got to my place no problem.

i germinated ...& 2 of 5 sprouted.

when i contacted them, attitude gave me a complete, total, bullshit run-around.

since i run a business, and could never get away with such service, i will NEVER buy from them again.

my 2 cents.

Hah....I wouldn't expect a company to replace something that could be a result of your skills. or genetics..............just be happy they are willing to put THEIR business on the line to get you seeds......If a company would refund me cause seeds didnt germinate....I would order every day just to tell them they didnt pop....LOL
