Attitude Seeds A Rip Off!

Attitude got caught red handed shipping non-DJ Short genetics to customers who'd ordered DJ Short strains. DJ Short, on his site stated he never ever distributed seeds to Attitude seeds.

More recently Dr. Greenthumb seeds went on line to state that they never distributed their Cindy 99 to Attitude seeds, yet days after High Times listed Greenthumb's C99 on their top 10 strains from 2009, Attitude had Greenthumb's c99 for sale on their site.

Online there are hundreds if not thousands of complaints about Attitudes hermy genetics. No matter where they are supposed to come from Attitude has been caught making substitutions for name brand seeds like DJ Shorts.

Additionally, Attitude keeps a database of customers names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses that at one point was exposed to risk when they were busted.

The news broke on the International Cannagraphic Magazine forum, with a statement from Short himself.

well if you look at the attifudes website, they say for themselfs that they didn't get the dj shorts beans from the man himself, but rather from i think planetseur or something along those lines.. i don't ever recall the attitude ever once saying that they get the beans directly from a breeder... they are a seed bank, and therefore have other means of getting thier beans...
and what balls it took for them to go on the website and admit that they had sold some beans that wheren't what they said that they were, and also to give the right seeds to everyone who had ordered them.. they even said that the planetsuer or whoever that they got the djshorts beans from had gotten them from someone who was passing off fakes, and are now waiting to get the real things from the dj himself.. i don't know how much more stand up a company could be than to publicly admit their mistake and then do everything to correct it... and if you think that other seed banks don't keep records of what they sold and to whom you must be living in a dream world.. it is called running a bussiness... this is how it is done, and if you are afraid of getting popped from ordering from a seedband, then don't...

I have ordered from them twice with no problems.....they always throw in free feminized seeds also. Attitude is OK in my book

They replaced the bad DJ Short gear.I dont know how many seed companys got Shorts copycat gear but The Tude got caught red handed.Despite all this they are still reliable and most hermies come from too much stress an inexprienced growers...........peace

Well if you knew your facts properly then you would know seed banks do safely dispose of addresses, personal details etc and for some of us this is very important, I live in the uk so to get seeds for me is no problem as it's perfectly legal.

You say they had balls to come out, what else could they do when they got caught red handed distrobuting fake dj shorts blue berry seeds, it's not exactly like they could keep selling them is it, they had to come out and say something.

I go to 420 cup, cannabis cups, private cups, smoked with soma, b.dronkers, arjan and many more in amsterdam and have a friend who runs a successful seedbank in the uk, so don't tell me I'm living in a dream world when I have been in this buisness since you where a twinkle in your momma eye.

is right m8 i have ordered from them 3 times now and never had a problem they all came on time and came in proper breeders packs and they all germinated without no problems. not tryin start a fight here but just sayin what i think of attitude and they seem good 2 me but i woud never go to 1stopseedshop.co.uk i ordered from there 4 times they came the first 3 times and the 4th time im still waiting now 3 months l8er

bump for attitude, making dreams come true

The attitude are supposed to be a reputable company with high standards cough freebies, if they where as reputable and knew there stock like any good high standard seedbank then they wouldn't get caught red handed selling fake seeds...


Now lets think for a second, if the attitude never got caught red handed selling fake seeds and also are a seedbank whom are supposed to be of such a high standard and know there stock inside out like any other high standard seedbank, would they have kept selling these fake seeds if they weren't caught red handed?...

You should be concernd as you may have getting free fem seeds, which tbh I am not bought of so cheaply as I find a lot of the freebies are pretty much useless and are infact not free for our benefit, it is old seed stock sold given to you free but stop and think before you so cheaply get caught up within the sales ploy and remember nothing is for free. Now whilst you spend your hard earned dollars buying from such a high standard seedbank and not get bought and caught so cheaply in there sales ploy, you must understand these kind of people don't care about you me or anyone else, only themselves and how much money they can earn.

Now you might think, well what's up man they give us free seeds, I have bought seeds and they have been awesome and so on. Now I am not saying the attitude sell bad seeds but they have one hell of a sales ploy going on, which is working very well, so good for them but you must think for the average man going out earnin hard earned $$$ we can not be dealing with such a company.

Now they have a sales ploy and people might think, what's your problem etc. It's because they really don't care about us. I really wish all of you coud meet kevin etc who runs attitude and I swear they will not be the people who you think they are.

There growing knowledge is appauling, they know jack about there seeds apart from which ones sells best and give away old seed stock like they are doing you the favour. Now you might think, you can't complain about free, well you can when you think your getting fresh freebies, not old stock they would have to sell onto another company for a knocked down price.

In my opinion and I swear if you knew these guys, you would be totally shocked on who they are and how little there knowledge is.

Amen to that, I think the majority of these seedbanks sell shitty seeds or questionable quality genetics for premium prices and for damn sure premium shipping rates for something that weighs nothing. Greenhouses Coloured mix is pretty much GARBAGE for starters....White rhino..dead....trainwreck...leggy and weak/pale, Great White Shark...dead...I got like 2 phenos out of 5 seeds to come out completely and they arent the best I ever grew....these seedbanks rely on the fact that this business is clandestined to sell shit quality for premium prices...believe me they arent going to part with their best seeds when they are tryig to grow out all the best product they can for the cannabis cups etc. Also if they find out the shit is going to america I bet you next months rent you get the oldest, lightest tan colored shit seeds they carry.
Fuck the europeans and their treacherous ways ... I'm breeding auto hindu kush and Im going to bet my seeds come out bigger/darker/better than the dry aged shit they send out. Prices are sooooo over inflated also for a single seed that it's flat out highway robbery. After having read this thread I felt I had to speak up for Attitude, having just got my beans earlier this month. First off, the freebies were not of poor quality...I got 7 free pineapple express...and 5 individual freebies. I haven't tried the individual ones but all the seeds seem to be well developed (old perhaps, I don't know, but fully mature seeds). 3 of 3 germed for the Pineapple (saving the rest). Of the 30 seeds I germed 30 popped (I was not expecting that, or I wouldn't have started so many beans). These were from 10 different strains, some reg. seeds, some fem. seeds. So I don't know about the hermie rate (but as stated above that's usually due to growers mistakes- too much stress/light leaks), yet, but I can speak on behalf of the germ rate of their seeds, and it far exceeded expectations. As far as being the wrong seeds (or fake seeds), I can say that every plant I got seems to be following the information I've dug up on those seeds, to a T. Also I can't speak for owners, but I can say that Rachel (the person who answered all my questions) was extremely helpful, perhaps the best customer service I;ve ever received (a surprise from a company called attitude). If your concerned about your personal info being saved on their computers then give them fake info. to save on those computers. I used a money order (make sure you go a little over just in case the exchange rate changes,at least that's what i did), with a fake name, to a safe address...protect yourself, don't rely on them. Everything arrived in good condition, 7 days after they received my money order (which took 10 days to get there). As far as them not being knowledgeable on their products, that's because they are just a bank, they don't grow them out...that's the growers job. Go to the breeders for that information, or the growers on forums like this. I was amazed how well everything work...I would have ordered a long time ago if I thought it would go that smooth. BTW I'm not toolage, I've don't really know him that well either, I'm posting on a public computer, everything i say is for educational purposes only, and anything i claim is purely fictitious and a flat out lie.

5 orders form the 'Tude and no problems what so ever. Give some links to their problems and maybe someone will take you seriously.

Hermies are 99% the growers fault form inexperience or stress or both.

I love The Attitude. Couldn't be happier. Often my freebie seeds end up being better plants than the ones I paid for...how cool is that?!

That whole DJ short mess was due to some guy saying he had DJ Short seeds and he sold them to Attitude...whatever. They refunded/replaced everyone's seeds and did the best they could to make it right.

For the most part all of their seeds come in BREEDER PACKS, SEALED BY THE BREEDER. If you pick-n-mix they remove them from breeder packs and some stealth shipping options require removal from breeders packs.

The Attitude is a SEEDBANK and not a BREEDER. Use a different breeder if you're having trouble. Or don't get fem seeds. Or fix the light leaking into your flower room at night.

Good for you that you love attitude, to be honest I really don't care.

Please don't tell me about breeders & seeds when I know several breeders & have a mate who runs a well known seedbank.(who alot of you use)

I have never had a hermie, so don't know where you got that from... Just read my grow, the link is in my sig...

wow people are so enlightened. I must be screweing up my seeds when i have several successfull harvests already. Granted i messed up my share of seeds but heres the deal. Like anything there are grades of quality im sure and seedbanks can purchase stocks of both for cheaper/more expensive prices. Also the way they are stored makes a difference and the breeders ARE to blame somtimes. I got a 5 pack of feminized church from greenhouse and 1 had a huge dent in it and another popped btwn my fingers w slight pressure. OK so BOTh the seedbanks and breeders need to check what they send to people. its not just the seedbanks keeping the best looking beans and selling the rest, im sure it never happens

I can assure you I'm nothing more than a satisfied customer. Much like you I couldn't care less where you get you beans from. I'm simply stating that my experience has been perfect in the 1 time I've ordered from them. I've lost one due to my own negligence but aside from that the viability of these seeds have left me overgrown. It's just a bit strange that; I've been amazed by the germ rate of the beans I got, where as I'm hearing others state the exact opposite. Now maybe they just like me, it's the first time I've ordered, but maybe, somehow, I got special treatment....but I doubt it.

Anyway, no I'm not in any way associated with Attitude aside from my single order with them. It does however seem you have some personal interest invested in your seed connection. It seems if anything it would be your opinions that are a little askewed based on your personal bias.

Based on my experience (that's all I got to go on), the only legitimate complaint I've ever heard about Attitude is the prices are on the high side, but with guaranteed shipping...so....meh.

Anyway, I'm not trying to start shit, but rather just want to state that IMO attitude is a reliable source for beans. BTW I'm not naieve (because that's not a word), I'm ignorant; I understand the logic behind things, I just don't care. Now, I realize what little merit that may carry with you; seeing as how you don't know me, however the only reason you don't know me is; because I don't exist, I'm not toolage and I don't know him that well, everything I say is a based on pure hearsay, and for the most part is a flat out lie.

Their shipping is flat out robbery. Seedboutique and Dope-Seeds are like half their prices but attitude has the great inventory. Attitude's website is a dead giveaway to how much they make on top its the best one out there imo. I wouldn't be as pissed about weak seeds if they didnt cost as much as they do.
