It would have been so easy to take a picture of the "alleged" 6 year old seed pack, and demonstrate that you're NOT full of shit.
Sadly, we have just your word that this isn't another "Attitude" bash. There seems to be a lot of that going on right now. And oddly from NEW accounts! If i were a conspiracy nut, I would be thinking someone was opening phony RIU accounts just to fuck with the Attitude.
Are you seriously picking this back up after a full year, or is there something going on with the time/date stamp on the forums now?

Yeah.....and I just read your journal.....are you SURE you want to BLAME the Attitude for a shitty seed?
As of yesterday afternoon, you weren't sure WHAT you had.....+ your germination technique was pretty dicey..
So stop busting the Attitudes chops and be glad something survived!

If it turns out to be an actual marijuana seedling, I'll be happy with that. But from the looks of it, it doesn't look like 1 at all. I don't think my shitty care taking for planting it would change the type of seed it is. And i wasn't too rough with it lol. I had to dig it up because it was too deep down.

With that being said.... Yes, for now I'd like to BLAAAMEEE attitude, for selling me a fuckin vegetable seed, from the looks of it at this point. What i payed for was a fuckin marijuana seed, and what the fuck is this? I'm not going to be glad it "survived" to be a fuckin pickle.

Ah and i didn't know which seed it was... between the purple haze and the afghan kush x yumbolt. So either way.... They sold me a shitty seed.

Are you sure that plat is even from that seed? It almost seems like you had some other seed in your dirt and your MJ seed didn't pop. Attitude didn't make the seed, WOS did, your beef is with them. What did the seed look like? Did you germinte it before it was planted in the dirt?

I'm very positive that this is the seed i planted...... and yes i germinated it before i planted it, i dug it up right where i planted it, it was like 3-5 inches down, then replanted it right near the surface.

It's one of these seeds..... Don't know which one, but it is.

Just fuck it, I'm pretty sure this is what they sold me and I'm not buying again, that's that. I have a feeling this is going to turn into a pointless argument. I'll just say fuck it... put it outside or something and forget about it. At least i got 2 good ones.

It's cool man I am not hating on you, just trying to get more info. Looks like you did everything right besides planting the seeds too deep. Those definately look like MJ seeds to me, and I have ad sprouts in my soil other than what I've planted before. Soon we will all see what happens with it and it may just be a weird abnormality, but your gonna have better luck dealing with the breeder than the disstributor IMO. I don't think attitude sent you a veggie seed in place of a MJ seed is all.

melon & cucumbers whatever that thing is that sprouted don't look anything like a MJ seed, they're flat, WHITE, almond shaped.

K just so you know, I think WOS.com is another distributor and worldofseeds.eu is their website. That's the website on my breeder's pack.

Barney's dicontinued the Laughing Buddha seeds, no doubt around 2004. The same date in Red Pen Ink on my Packaging sold to me in May 2010. Attitude says they sell beans for Novelty until the Law changes. What's the sense in paying Hundreds for seeds that aren't viable NOW, let alone at some point in the Future when it's Legal to germinate them? Being a repeat customer, I had no other problems with any of their seeds until this and all I got was accusations and a denial. I breed and the L.Buddha Genetics were Important to me.
I noticed recently the smart ass reply I got and decided to bitch about it. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE and Risky for the buyer TOO! Claiming a Person living in the middle of Pennsylvania, USA of "working for the Competition" is ridiculous. Dr.greenthumbs' as close as anyone and that's 700 miles away!!!!.
Anyone who has grown for seed knows the profit that can be made (10 seeds @ $110/pack), in selling them when you have Thousands off a single plant! Their reasoning for selling seeds and then not discussing failures to crack, isn't sound if the seeds are old before the Law changes..........Just how is it we are "preserving these genetics" when they won't sprout.

May 23, 2011: Attitude Seed Bank claims the "2004" written in Red Ink Pen on the Packaging is is their "way of knowing they were shipped to the Customer", not the Date?? How that makes any sense I'm not certain, shouldn't it be written on something THEY Keep?. They claim "they sell them as Souveiners only, so people can Save the Genetics should the Laws change."
So if you do happen to germinate them, they won't discuss any type of growing, and thus eliminate any potential conversation about seeds that are "Souveniers only" and won't germinate.
So they sold me seeds in a beeders pack that were old and wouldn't germinate, after being humiliated on the Internet as a Con Man trying to Rip them Off when I dared mention this fact. SO How Is anyone "Saving Genetics" when they won't germinate NOW...Let alone sometime in the Future! If they had just been honest with me I'd let it go. I did alot of Business w/them and had No problems until I got OLD Barney's Laughing Buddha in 2010....3 of the 10 cracked and those 3 grew slowly. I didn't even ask for a refund but was attacked on the internet on rollitup.com as being a con man, Rip-off artist? I should mention, Coincidentally, that Barney's Discontinued this type of seeds in 2004 and is available now only in Female form I believe. BUYER BEWARE!ASK IF THEY'RE FRESH FIRST...

What you fail to realize is that there is NO GUARANTEE ON GERMINATION BY ATTITUDE, ONLY DELIVERY. Your beef is with Barney's Farm, not attitude. You say they discontinued the line in 2004, how did you not know this 6 years after the fact. I know word can travel slowly in this little subculture, but that's pushing the limits of credulity by more than just a bit. If you live in the states, well... you're just out of luck anyway because it is ILLEGAL TO GERMINATE the seeds and THEY CANNOT ADVERTISE THEM FOR SALE AS SUCH. Understand your laws before you start demanding restitution on issues that the law doesn't even support.
