Attitude seed bank - Selling old seeds

Hello,

I thought I would add my experience with Attitude.

I have purchased over 250 seeds from them in 7 shipping parcels over the last 24 months and I have never had an issue with shipping though the quality of the stock they hold is horrid. 35% products I purchased did not germinate and after spending tons of cash on some high end strains (soma rock/doggies nuts) it is very frustrating.

I contacted them and they asked me to contact the breeders and if they agreed they would send replacements. After 3 weeks of emailing all these breeders (which don't ship to AU) and getting them to agree for Attitude to send replacements. I email Attitude and inform them I did what they asked and the breeders agreed to replace my seeds then they blew me off, giving me the run around saying they can't send them due to UK law and ignoring my emails.

So after spending $3,000+ on their website rather than to be treated like a valued on-going customer they treat me like trash and ignore my emails.

Summary: Some of their seeds are not fresh so keep that in mind when spending big bucks on $$$ strains/brands.

some people just amaze me.

I dont have germ rate issues, but then again... I know what I am doing when it comes to breeder selection.
Once you germinate seeds, you are on your own. Why dont you take some time and read what you are agreeing to when it comes to making a purchase.

All of that aside.... You have a 35% germ rate, yet over those 24 months you CONTINUED to purchase seeds and get a terrible germ rate (which I would say would be YOUR OWN issue, as plenty of people have no issues, not just me) I would say that was a lapse in your own personal judgement, and I dont feel sorry for you.

What I can't understand is if 35% of your stuff didn't sprout, why did you keep buying from them for two years? They are from the only game in town. Try Sannies, Sea of Seas, or Herbies.

You'll excuse me if I don't put any stock into a thing you say. Not to mention that other than the random freebie, which I dont give a fuck about anyway, I have had zero germination problems with any seeds from Attitude, Or from anywhere else for that matter.

I seriously think people don't know how to either, Germinate properly, or store seeds.

I have purchased over 100 seeds from Attitude before I switched to Sea of Seedss. Never had a dud from Attitude. I stopped using them because of shipping costs and options there. Nothing more. 35% failure rate? I question the grower, not the seeds.

Another reason to not use attitude!

try herbies
I suggest Sea of Seedss. A sponsor? And their service is everything Attitude offers along with more freebies and cheaper shipping. Plus they have had 3 strains in stock this year that every other seed bank was out of at the time. No germination problems with any seedbank on my part.

I've ordered hundreds of seeds from the Attitude over the past two years and never had any germination problems. I even germed a pack that had been sitting untouched for two years. They all germed even after that length of time.

I suspect bad germing methods. Or bad storage conditions.

Ok, I just made this account which means I am going to get accused of working for a seedbank or something (which I do not). I know this is an oldish thread but this guy mentioned Soma, so I wanted to say something.
I have generally had really good germ rates with seed from attitude- almost 100%. In fact I just completed another order.

Although..... I did order some Soma seeds from them a few months ago. 0% Germ rate! I have been growing for years. I don't just grow weed, I grow other things as well. I have been around plants my whole life. I am pretty sure I did everything right. NEVER had a problem getting beans to crack. Those overpriced Soma beans were shit! I emailed attitude and asked for a replacement- they sent another pack. Guess what- 0% germ rate AGAIN!

I don't know what the fuck! Maybe it was a bad batch, maybe attitude has some really old seeds, or maybe Soma needs to cut back on his weed a bit when harvesting seed. I have no idea, all I know is Soma seeds fucking sucks donkey dick. I'm out a couple hundred dollars or whatever I paid for that shit. For that much, the least they could do is fucking germinate- let alone grow nice nugs.

Personally, I think the best thing is whatever seedbank you use- if their pricetag for some beans is triple digit, make sure their stock is good and see if they have had any complaints. That is what I should have done. I also now avoid seeds that are on sale (unless they are cheap Nirvana seeds and a good strain then I'll risk it). Often, those are old seeds.

I still like attitude for the most part- though I am not as loyal a customer as I used to be. I got screwed on that one since they had back stock.

Sorry bout your luck man. Not flamin you but every seed Ive popped from Soma has germed and grown into a beautiful plant. Buddah Sister, Sougouda, Amneisa Haze and Lavender. Some were single seed purchases. I dont pre soak or paper towel nothing. Straight into the dirt.

Yeah of course, it's only logical with the huge selection they have. Some of the seeds are going to sell faster then others. And yes some will get old, I know a lot of seed banks keep there seeds in a fridge, and sometimes that can make them a little sluggish also.

I have been buying from attitude for a couple years. I have spent over $2000. In the beginning I had no issues with them. Their shipping is always fast and stealth, and I always get what I ordered. The last 3 orders have not been as good. I too only had about 30% germinate, and those were usually the freebies, not the ones I actually wanted. The first time it happened I thought it was me, but I have never had a problem germinating seeds. The 2nd time I suspected that it was the seed quality. I ordered one more time, and same thing again. I am done with attitude for now. I just placed an order with sea of seeds. Fingers crossed. I have never ordered from them, so not sure what to expect.

I have heard others having same problem with attitude on different boards. I hope they improve. I really like them and hope to use them again. Their promos are always good. Plus thier site is fast and easy to use.
