Attitude lieing about LSD or mistake?

Why does attitude say barneys seed farm lsd takes 60 - 65 days to flower yet the breeeder website says 65 - 70? Is it a mistake or is attitude lieing to make it sound faster. I got 4 going right now and at week 5 of flowering it looks like they will be 10 weeks atleast. I got a dinafem diesel right next to it (so same treatment) and it looks 2weeks more advanced. I only got it cause it sounded fast but i feel conned now.

i don't think attitude is lying. they have little to gain by doing that. it could be that barney revised his flowering time or they just made a mistake or were accidentally given the wrong info. it could also be that whoever entered the data was using some "form letter" template for each strain and forgot to change the info from another strain.

oh yeah... there's no consensus on precise flowering times either. some breeders state number of days, some number of weeks and others just a general month to harvest. (i think that one goes by starting beans the last month of june, but don't quote me on that)

seed sites aren't exactly known for their proofreading skills. i've seen so many typos at various sites.

email them to let them know. they'll probably update the info.

I think all seed sellers want to fudge on the side of underestimating flowering time. This is because people are impatient and want the fastest possible flowering time. The sales staff is writing too much copy.

Additionally, some phenos of each particular strain might have much longer flowering times.

Take the tin foil / armadillo hats off peep... they take as long as they take... far to many variables ( hydro or soil?? / lights?? / nutes?? / how long you veg for?? / co2?? ) to get anywhere near an accurate flowering time... just enjoy the grow experiance and the fruits of your labour!!!

to get close to the growing times seed sellers say, you have to have optimal hydro systems with CO2...simple as that :)

That makes sense. Mr Nice says his Super Silver Haze goes 8 to ten weeks. I had one finish in 8 weeks. The other two are 13 weeks 5 days and still are not done, but they look sweet & deadly. :hump:

Well if they 'take as long as they take' and Co2 and shit is required to grow them in the time frame provided- it's time to make a fucking tin foil hat and put it on! Because that is not moral business practice. That is indeed misleading people intentionally. They know full well people ranging from noobs to intermediate hobbyist will assume the time frame is a generalised one that an average grow could achieve (I mean why else would they say something like 8 to 9 weeks? When really it means 8 - 9 for NASA growing it but for you guys at home with a regular budget, 10 to 11) but yet they market a misleading description to improve sales.
If they were honest they would either add time on to their super duper grow or test it out under what a regular grower can achieve- OR just actually tell people that the description is only for weed genius's to shoot for.
Bottom line is fuck them for being money hungry instead of decent human beings- but yes i'll buy their seeds and it will 'take what it takes'

Uh 'couchlock' is caused by CBD, not by the chemicals that are created when THC breaks down from being harvested too late. If you don't want couchlock, you get a strain with low cbd or havesting early will still give you the same thc to cbd ratio- as in, you'll get less of both so you'll smoke more and then end up with just as much cbd in your system. But yes I don't know why anyone harvests late when the THC turns into groggy yucky chemicals... to me it's like making a sandwich then waiting until it's a bit old and stale before eating it...

Well i don't 'love' fem, but at the moment its more practical for me since I don't have a tent or decent light for mother plants.

stated growing times are phenotype dependent anyway, if your strain takes 76 days to flower don't get too mad bro :)

CBN ....mostly. not always CBD but it depends on the cannabinoid profile.

I think people have lost the fact that harvesting early is not giving the bud a "more sativa high"- it's just getting less of all the chemicals in the same ratio. If you harvest late you aren't giving an "indica high"- you are giving a broken down THC high. There is no way to fake Indy or Sat high- you either have the chemicals there and in the right ratio or you don't- wrecking the plant you got won't do the same thing as choosing the right strain. But yeah it's a whole different kettle of fish that people actually like that broken down chemicals high- just don't confuse it with being indy or sat high.

*edit* Although i should just correct myself a bit because he said "couchlock" not indica
