At what age to cotyledons die?

my plants are about two and a half weeks old, just wondering when they will fall of because the next time I transplant them I want to bury them a little bit deeper and the cotyledons are in the way.

IMO it is wrong to transplant before the coty's fall off but if you must you can just bury em

week 3 or 4 depending?

yeah Id say week 3. mine were completely brown at 4 weeks...

Its strain dependent....i had a 3 foot plant that still had the cotyledons

^ That's good to know, I was worrying 'cause mine are still attached and green at 5 weeks. The strain is THC Bomb and they're supposed to be a short plant, but they seem to be growing sooo slowly, only 5-6 inches yet quite bushy tho.
