I would love to grow out my own Strawberry Cough, but sativas seem daunting with my noob set of growing skills and knowledge. Strawberry Cough and Super Lemon Haze were my two favorite strains when I was in Cali.
So I put an order in for some new strains this morning. I showed some restraint and just picked up enough to get my freebies. Emerald Triangle Bubba 76, Female C99, G13 Labs Sour AK and Rokerij Sour Diesel. I was feeling nostalgic with the Sour D influence. I really wanted some of Emerald's Super Sour OG, but the single beans were gone and I literally had some of their Lemon Diesel seeds disappear from my cart as others ordered the last of them before I could.
Oh well, I think I have enough strains to keep me busy for the year now... maybe. I'm sure I'll pick up some genetics from Sannie's at some point.Cheers to big and bountiful harvests this coming year as well as many years of cultivating here in AZ. Kill that 25 mile rule AZ!

The height of sativas is what seems beyond me at the moment. I have a 5' x 5' x 6.5' flower tent and my fear is the girls growing out of control. I'm sure after a couple of good grows under my belt I'll try a run with some sativas like SLH.
Yeah man... Stick to indicas or hybrids... A sativa will out grow the size of the tent 4 sure... Unless you flower from clone!!
Fire is right. lol My Super lemon haze got so tall in mid flower I had to take strings and fishing weights to bend branches so my buds grew sideways some what.
Just starting white domina from kannabia and critical + from dinafem. I have heard great things about what they are doing in Spain and am eager to see for myself.
1st grow, White Rhino and Snow White indoor soil.
Any suggestions for particular strains that are easiest for new growers with learning curves? Having some issues with lighting and controlling temp in confined space. Plants seem like they're stretched.
This one is in veg and while it looks healthy it seems tall and the leaves are concentrated to the top. It's in soil, in a small closet, 100w cfl 18/6, and humidifier - humidity here is 35-40 without adding extra moisture. This is my first grow and despite doing a ton of research and reading, I'm still feeling my way around. The leaves are a nice green with no yellowing or brown. Ph check with meter and soil test is 7, soil nutrient check showed all at medium levels. It's almost 10 inches now...when do most people move to flowering? I bought a 400w HID system w/HPS bulb for that stage. What problems are you having? Plants always stretch when you introduce them to bloom " 12/12"

That just sounds like you have a Sativa dominant phenotype. You may have another plant from seed with the same genetics that grows more indica like ( shorter and stout).. I always would get a couple different phenotypes when I grew Sativa's from seed.
Thanks for the info - I bought the seeds (feminized) from Nirvana, White Rhino info says it's 90 Indica 10 Sativa.
