Hey everyone I just wanted to make this thread to post advice and opinions about certain nutrient brands. Let's all help each other out and give our past experiences.

I personally use The Bio Canna series (vega, flores, Rhizotonic and cannazyme) but have had experiences with many other brands such as:

Advanced Nutrients
Botanicare
Fox Farm
General Hydroponics
General Organics
Roots Organic
And many more....

Pleaseost your experiences with any nutrient brand or even Soil mixes, teas and oer ways you have found helpful growing this wonderful plant.

Much love,
Bird

i started with miracle grow back in the 70s and 80s. on a spur of the moment small outdoor grow in canada, we used ground up fish for ferts. they worked pretty well. we've come a long way baby! :)

when i restarted in the 90s, i used general hydroponics for a few years
then botanicare
then advanced nutes
then fox farm
then advanced
then botanicare
then dutch masters
then advanced.

i'm sticking with advanced nutes.

the advanced sensi grow, bloom and big bud do me just fine.

In my humble opinion your Mychorizzae is being eaten by your Bacterias here. Not to mention the Trichoderma in Great White is eating all of the Endo and Ecto first thing anyway. Which is why we no longer use the Great White product. Especially before a healthy Fungi colony has been established by the Endo and Ecto strains.

We use a single strain source now and have much MUCH better plants.

I feel as though Trichoderma is great when used alone. It's simply too alpha to be in conjunction with other strains of Fungi.

Thanks for the input. I thought the same and had my friend do an experiment for his Organic Chemistry class at ASU...he found out they actually work in conjunction when carbohydrates are readily available. I have to throw in some sugar cane every day otherwise your statement stands correct. I will not add great white this next batch if tea and see if it does any better...but in my experience, this is my secret weapon in getting the most microbes I can in my soil mix.

The more diversity the better so long as there is a readily available food source ie bud candy, molasses, sweet, etc.

What kind of microscopes are you using to see if your teas are active? I have a pretty basic scope that will help me identify some micro life.

I use super soil and since the introduction of AACT my results have been astounding. I mean night and day difference. I have read in many books now that without a microscope you are flying blind when it comes to tea. There is a lot better info out there on gardening with words like scholar etc throw in the search mix for those who prefer online reading. I'm old school and buy books.

Subs super soil with amendments

AACT every other water veg-bloom

Results speak for themselves:

Great job man. Your stuff definitely looks organic ;) anyways I use the microscope my buddy got in his chemistry class. The brand is Celestron. I believe it is the advanced biological microscope...can do 1000x. Now that you have mastered super soil, you ever gonna try Veganics?? That is where the fun begins :weed:

Good deal thanks, that's the kind you need for sure. Veganics sure why not, anyway around using bottle nutes? I've researched it some. I prefer all dry ingredients add water only if possible, that's why I quit the bottled coco shit. Any recommended books?

Many ways around not using bottled nutrients, I just do it because It works in perfect conjunction with my compost mix. You could very well get away with a nice soil blend and letting it cook like you would super soil. Just make sure your AACT has some sort of kelp meal or seaweed high in P and K.

The only reading I have done from a book was school issued...I will have to get the name of it from my old teacher. Give me a day or so :)
