That was day 11 flowering. I'm following a two week res schedule. Started with twenty gallons, I've added back about ten. I'll be changing out in three days and adding some mag pro to the mix (protekt and foliage pro). Still going to keep this whole run under 600ppm. Plants look super nice, stretch is occurring but they are not getting lanky at all. Sturdy more like, which is good for cheese.

Thanks. I'm optimistic. I hope to demonstrate that hammering your plants with bottle after bottle of product is a waste of time and money.

Interested to see this grow. If you mean hammering by using too many products I'd agree you don't need a million things to yield. But if you mean you can run lower ppm nutes with just as good of yields I'd say that's pretty strain dependent. These girls are very lovely though.

Gotta love those people that use 25 products and cost $1000 a grow like most AN users.

Led are hands down the best light, harder buds better yields it's unbeatable.

Looking good, so far! Your plants sure are filling out nicely!

I'm really enjoying my XGS...about 3 weeks to harvesting my first under this light. Its performed as well as I had expected.

Got a link for that light? The xgs has 72 diodes and runs about 190 watts. So two are about 380 watts. They cost around 500 each. Price doesn't matter too much if they perform well. Good equipment always pays for itself in my experience. I have about three thousand invested in hid lighting, but if these work well I'll never have to look at hps glare again and who can put a price on that? Those hid lights paid for themselves long ago, in fact they've paid for themselves many times over. Switching to led I was very attracted to the white light of the xgs and I wanted a light that had solid rep which narrowed the choice down considerably since few lights have had wide enough use to be 'proven'. So that's the story on my led decision tree. Sure hope it pays off, otherwise I will go back to hid lights and be sad.

It's a custom built light.

i average about .87-1.1 grams per watt.

your correct expensive lights will pay for themselves but i just can't spend $1500 when i can get a light for half that that does the same thing if not better.

One more question how do you know that it runs at 190 watts? Ever hook it up to a meter or a kill-a-watt?

just curious since the majority of companies lie about the output.

It runs 195 watts at the plug. Others have checked that out. I'm not that technically curious. Definitely not into custom anything, I'm a plug and play kind of guy.

Me neither. I haven't been as excited about growing in a while. Thought I'd lost my mojo.

I'm planning on going near 9 weeks. I have six plants that are just now about ready to trim. Might be my last hps run ever. They look pretty good but I think these led plants might go into new territory.
