I recently bought one of these lights and put 8 clones under it. Impressed by the rate and quality of growth, I just ordered another one. I'm vegging until the other light arrives then I will flip. I grow in flood and drain Turbogardens and i'll have four plants in a separate unit under each light. No comparisons going on, I already know well what this strain does under HID. I use Dynagro Protekt, Foliage Pro and Mag Pro. Currently running at 440ppm and it won't be much higher in bloom. No bloom formulas or boosters but I do use Dutch Master Zone for a clean res.

This is my first experience with LEDs after using 600s and 1Ks for quite a while. I hope to have some knowledgeable followers to learn from as I go. Expecting a couple oz per plant as a modest goal.

Thanks, gen. Glad to have you along! I've moved out of the basement too, so my environment should be optimal. A/C at 73, 50% rh. I'll do regular updates on this project, looks like my tablet cam does okay for wide shots, I'll get up close when the action really starts.

subbed. looking forward to the action.

Also doing my 1st run with an XGS, although I've used LED a bunch before. It looks like a good light, so far!

Plants have filled in rapidly in four days, but fan leaves are a tad droopy. I need to transplant to 8x8 pots and divide into two trays, but waiting on that backordered light. I might hang a t5 fixture to compensate until that's sorted. I'll also take a dozen cuttings or so even though I have a bunch rooting now.

Just topped all plants and stuck them in the cloner. Can't seem to upload right now, oh well.

Got my second light. Decided to go with both over a single tray with six plants. I'll keep the other two for now as mothers although i've got a bunch of rooted clones I don't know what to do with...downsizing is hard, lol.WIN_20140618_142721.JPG WIN_20140618_142704.JPG

So my question is this. I've always grown either trees or sog style. These plants are bushy and compact now with a fairly even canopy. Would it be helpful to have a screen? I don't think I should let them get much bigger...

Thanks. I went on a little five day trip and worried the whole time. pH was a little on the low side when I got back last night but the plants are growing very nicely at 540ppm.

I enjoyed running Greenhouse's Exo Cheese a few years back. Steenky plants, but great taste/effect. Wife would joke, saying they smell like "mushroom rot berry", I prefer "Afghani Mountain Goat Udder". :)

Good to see you got the 2nd XGS. Looking forward to seeing your updates.
