I never insulted one person, read all my own posts, just said these are over priced. You guys got some serious anger issues, you might want to go speak to a therapist.
Really...you keep backpedaling bro. Get your story straight...VVVV
Just humorous to me to watch you LEDs guys try to progress, its like watching the special Olympics , you all should get a prize.
And about not makugn money off meds...they agian...VVV
So for 50 grand I can cover half my basement? That sounds like its cumulatively emptying my wallet.
Why do you need half a basement if not selling/being compensated for your work. Do you charge 1$ a gram. Thats about what it cost so don't play mr moral.

You coming to the cup? Me and my special olympic friends have something to talk to you about.

A lot more efficient. I haven't done the math yet on PAR Watts, but just by lumens there's a lot more. Shouldn't really go by lumens, but it gives you an idea.

I had some extra fixture cases, close to 100 of them, figured I'd do something with them.
how efficient are the new rw-150.1 over the old ones?
Old:
36x XTE 5700k R5 bin, 750mA, 124 lumens per watt
36x XPE 630nm P3 bin, 650mA, 88.6 lumens per watt
100w veg, 155w flower

New:
48x XPG2 4250k S3 bin, 700mA, 152 lumens per watt
24x XPE2 630nm P4 bin, 700mA, 90.8 lumens per watt
80w veg, 160w flower

That will be the upgrade kits as well.

I am glad these came back!!! cant wait to pre-order them
I got 3 rw-150 from old bins, how much to have retrofitted with new upgrade kit and return shipped?
New CXB3590 fixture is awesome at 64% efficient cant wait to add that to my W-90 set-up

Maybe $750 for the (6) Vero version. Maybe.
I wonder if this will cost less than the $1000 6 w90's is going for now. Going to wait and see.
A51 has yet another new series of lights coming out. It is called the Yoda Series.

It has (32) CXL5750s FF bin, driven at 87.5mA, total power is 90 watts, and it sells $5000.

Special YodaVision lenses which increases footprint, and coolness too , those are $100 each. You'll need 32 of them.

So, yeah...

300% mark up is beyond what should be marked up. 50-75$ mark up on a 150$ build should be adequate.
proves you know jack shit because any stores will double the price of cost, thats the standard mark up. It would be nice to see you start your company and mark things up 50-75$, I will be your first customer.

EH, I thought it was the end of A51, too bad you didnt update your website sooner I would have pre-ordered a fixture instead of DIY, now I am stuck having to build my lights!!!

I'd like to know how I can build this light for $150. Then I can sell it for $300.

(4) CXB3590 3500k CD $43-$49 each = $172-$196
(1) Mean Well power supply $25-$29
(1) Mean Well 12v power supply $6
(1) Heat sink $35

We're already up to $238-$266, and there's still the fixture case, fan, wiring, switches, labor, shipping, warehouse fees, taxes, profits....

Don't forget to include power supplies and all the other parts, labor, etc... when figuring what something costs to build. It costs more than just the LEDs.

20-40% is typical retail markup from wholesale.

Along with website maintenance costs, CC processing fees, CC gateway fees, packaging products (box and filler material).
