This is only my second outdoor grow in a long time, but last year, and in the past they don't start til early/mid August, and finish in October. I started this year with clones, who all had some white hairs. They still do at 3-4 feet tall. But they aren't really flowering, they're vegging up a storm.

ya last year my very sativa dominant Og Kush finished in mid november.

i just started this thread in hopes that us Cali growers could let each other know when each others outdoor plants are beginning the final part of the journey so to speak.

I've got 2 of 9 strains starting to flower. Medijuana & a Indica dom cross of Purple Power Plant & a strain called 'Crooked Prairie' = PPPCP.

I have a hugh OG Kush that's not showing any signs of flowering any time soon. All others are vegging strongly right now

ordered medijuana seeds about 6 months ago and im 7 weeks out from finish with them. im excited about the results... GOOD LUCK

would have thought in sunny cali even the sativas would be showing some good buds, im on the south coast of spain, my second year grow, i started them of in april but put them in the dirt early, mostly sativa seeds, a gift from 1 of my american friends, some started to bud early and others just wanted to grow an grow, toped 6ft, had a good start with the weather, but bad with birds and rabit attaks, ill put some pics in as soon as isort out how, have a nice day all.

I don't think you can MAKE them wait outdoors. It's all about the sun cycle. But unless they are autoflower, they shouldn't be flowering this early, we are less than one month from the longest day of the year.

Im also interested. Im assuming there is about a little over a week left of the vegitation cycle before the plants begin thier 2 week "stretch" and move into reproduction. I live about 45 miles n of sacramento too. Somone tell me if this is right.

Different strains are going to respond differently, some starting sooner than others. Just in my experience I've never had an outdoor plant start any earlier than August 10th or so. However I've always had sativas in the past, this is my first time with any Indicas, so it'll be interesting to see if the same timeframe holds true.

indicas usually finish about a month before sativas.

so they will begin flower about a month ealier usually

I live in SoCal and my Super Silver Haze was a clone that has been growing outside for about 3 weeks now. She has lots of preflowers, but I am not expecting to see some real buds come in for another two weeks and won't be expecting full formation for another 8-12 weeks. Can't wait! Let's keep each other updated

Now thats an impressive lineup.

sound awesome good luck i've heard nothing but good things about all of those strains... except for blue dream.

grew that outdoors last year didnt like it at all. grows reaaaaallly good and the clones made off of it root extremely fast but the smoke just doesnt do it for me.

xj-13 is one of me and my buddys favorite sativas. awesome day time energetic high.

grew sweet tooth indoors last year and it was huge producer, very pretty dense buds. really nice bag appeal.

and og kush has to be one of my top 5 favorite strains to grow, and to smoke.

hope you have an awesome harvest, keep us posted with which ones are starting to show preflowers.

My Sweet Tooth, Sour Diesel, and Blue Dream are all showing some white hairs. My Mango Kush, Purple Urkle and Confidential Cheese are not. These are all clones planted June 21st in the Bay Area.
