Are you satisfied with your T5 Badboy?

I have decided to go with a T5 system.

I may be buying Badboy T5's. I will be buying quite a few T5's for my fairly large setup.

Would you recommend the Badboy or some other brand?

ATFgrower: I don't have Bad Boys, but I have three T-5 fixtures; one four tube fixture four feet long and two fixtures two feet long both with four tubes. My only regret is that I didn't get a six or eight tube fixture that would cover my whole tent area, but then my operating cost would be more.

Remember that you can have your lamps closer to your plants than with other types of lighting, but with florescent lighting you 'have to.'
You want the fixture big enough to cover your grow.

I'm very happy with the results so far. Veg and grow lamps are readily available and my 4' fixture came with a set of each lamps. I have two different brands, one I bought on line, and the other two I got from Discount Hydroponics at Riverside, California. As I recall, they sell three different brands of T-5 lamps, obviously at different prices. I don't recall whether Bad Boy was one of my choices but I know it wasn't what I purchased. I'd be more concerned with the manufacturer's reputation, warranty and the price rather than the brand name. HSA

I am basically just trying to find the brand most people are the happiest with. I have heard great things about Badboy, but not quite sure about the other brands. Just trying to make the best choice before I spend the money. Happy to see you are satisfied with your purchase. Thanks.
