there is like thousands of post a day here so many hard working individuals would have to be on the mod that, all working together, aka getting along

i am also a mod at another site, a lot more members then 100 to deal with, and we do not try to censor or control what people do

we empower people to cencsore themselves . . . . the community cleans itself we dont need judge dread getting all bent out of shape every time a rule is bent or broken, obviously some rules are concrete . . but other can be used case to case depending on severity of the event

we have fights here and there, but people are not afraid to express themselves freedom is more than a conditional subjective word

Actually, there's only one member over there that can't return here. Everyone else that went there from here, still has an account here. So saying we can't be here is wrong, they just prefer not to visit such a angry place.

And we got more than 100 lol. But I do see your point. The thing is we want a low member count. What's so cool abut having 1000 dickheads?

Yeah more the activity, more trolls and bashing you're gonna have. Mods here do pay attention but all they do most of the time is close or delete the threads, it's like treating people like kids and putting them in time out instead of giving out warning and infractions. Even my N word thread, nobody gave me any warnings before deleting it (even tho it was actually very civil) the rules here just aren't put into effect as often as they should, mods just don't care.

Same with us.. We haven't banned a single member yet. And we have only censored one post since it was a double post lol. So far so good. And again, we have more than 100 members.

Yeah, they should hire more mods for this place. I don't expect the mods to be here watching every second, so with enough good mods, this place can be less frantic.

to say the "end" word and to be using it as an insult are too different things and on the site i work at, i still woulndt censor or remove a post for that, freedom of speach means somthing

sugar coated politically correct BS belongs at pre school

but yes, we have 4-5 mods for about 350 active members and another 12k total members, and talking , PMing, and being in contact with all members i na event or a situation and to remain unbiased is how we treat people like people but enforce amicability

and this shit ball has been a rolling to long, for one thing rascism is not tolerated at our site in any form . . . .even jokes get close supervision and warnings, hate has nothing to do with our karma community and is normally meet quickly with "wtf bad vibes" post by many members

Well the thing about that thread was to ask, should white people get to say it in real life, not as an insult but just saying it in a sentence, nobody even said the full word either, it was always used as the "N" word, they just took it as something negative but then I see people posting the full word everywhere, not lately but quite a few times.


Also I will admit that I do report ALL bashing for no reason, and I'm not biased about it, even if I like the person. There's no feelings behind it, I just report and move on. Now I dunno if anything has ever been done about those posts since they weren't like bannable offenses but I'd imagine they get to the mods eventually. Some more than others, so I'd imagine nothing was said or done...lazy.

if you get beat up, or questioned then you have to deal with that

you cant control what people get offended by you can be considerate though, and ignorance is not a excuse

also the site i work at, i see every post, there might be 1000 post a day sometimes . . and ill read everyone

we dont pretend to be mods we do it and almost always within a few min we have shit on lock, sometimes members get pissy and we have to ban em but they almost always come back ina better mood
