Hi there ...
I have a fixture with 2x TL-D 58W 827 (2700K) ~5000lm... is this fixture any good for the grow? I'm now in week one.

I think the TL-D 58W 865 (6500K) bulbs are better.... Please I need a suggestion ...

Thanks ...

the 2700k is for flowering and the 6500k for vegging do you plan on using that light for the whole grow ..peace

neither of them are better exactly only better on different situations. 6500k for vegging and 2700k for flower

You're better off with a mixture of 6500 AND 2700 the whole way through. Don't just use one type, I have done both and the results from a mixed spectrum are much better. The sun doesn't just put off blue spectrum light in the spring and red in the late summer fall. It's a full spectrum of light and simulating this with both types just seems to perform better for me.

I agree with plaguedog, but would certainly run more 6500k during veg, and more 2700k during flowering (but always maintaining a mixture of spectrum).
