Humbolt headband hybrid. Deep water culture. 8 weeks from seed. General hydroponics nutes and cal mag. I moved thes into the flower room 6 days ago..... usually I see significant signs of flower but I'm not to sure this time. I'm not familiar with the strain... they vegged under t5 18/6 and are now under 1000w hps. They're going through a sick stretch. They are in a room with a sliding glass doar and right now were getting like 14 hours of sunlight. My hps light is only on 11 hours but my fears are that the light leek from the sunrise and sunset is stopping the process. I'm worried that the stretch isnt from flowering but from the light being 35 inches away.

Plants need at least 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness to flower. Why not put up a dark curtain to block out the sunlight?
I'm going to today. I just realized last night after my lights had been off for an hour and it was still light out......the time change was recently..... I need to know if the stretch is from the switch or the light from somewhere with alot more experience than me because if that stretch is from the light, I'm going to run out of room and they will have to go outside

I'm fairly certain they are flowering as they are becoming fuzzy.... they have been growing atleast 2 inches a day since the day i put them in there

Doesn't look like it's flowering to me. Get a good close-up of one of the tops man. The one close-up definitively shows a female plant. Also if it's growing 2" a day, and it keeps that up, it's probably not budding yet.

My apologies, if you're looking to bud, go 12/12. And the suggestion to blackout is a good one, any interruption at all, and they'll continue to veg, or stretch at least.

Also move that light in 18"-24", but for sure man, black those suckers out, and NEVER interrupt a bud room at "night". My suggestion would be to move the bud room into a room with no windows if you can, and get a wiper for the bottom of the door, you don't want any light getting in there.

They haven't shown sex yet, not that I can see anyway. Not sure what you mean by "fuzzy", but 2" a day is probably the flowering stretch going on.

You went from a t5 to a 1000watt hps and you're wondering why they are growing like crazy now? And since you're only giving it 10 hours of half-assed "darkness" it probably ain't even doing any flowering stretch yet.

Am I missing something here?
