Are these showing sex or just growing leaves off the stem? Preflowers? -___-

just need to know what the tits is going on where the branches meet the stem. I trie to take the best pics I could, these guys are just 3-4 weeks old from seed. Under 2 40w 6500K, and 2 23w 2700k CFL's, on 24 HR light for the first 2 weeks, 18/6 since then.

Also any advice on how I can train them to grow less... big. They're in a PC stealthbox. thanks brethren

No, they are under 24 hour light and only 3 weeks old. Why would they be showing sex?

A pre-flower will be VERY distinguishable from normal plant growth.

they've been on 18/6 for about 2 weeks now. they did have ONE DAY of 12/12 between the 24 HR light cycle. oops. so if they aren't preflowers, what are these leaves growing?

leaves and stems growing... Cannabis isn't like a palm tree you know

they'll start showing sex after a week, sometimes two under 12/12.

forgive me if i sound like a dick, i'm new to this. but are you sure? these leaves growing out of the internodes aren't fan leaves for sure, and all the pics i've seen of seedlings this age, for instance in the marijuana horticulture bible... they dont look like this. maybe take a second look at the pics or at least tell me what they are not just what they aren't

pre bud sites quite possibly. once under the 12/12 these will most likely be the areas to watch. either for the female hair/calyxes or nut sacks. youll know when it comes to either one. easily distinguishable

This is where the new stems will grow from, no, you are correct, they do not look like fan leaves.
