I like to wait until all the hairs are brown/red and I have a handfull of amber in there. Give it some more time IMO. Keep checking every few days but by the looks of it you could wait a week or maybe even two.
The best advice I've read which goes along the lines of keeping it simple is that she's done when she looks done. You kind of know it when you see it. IMO your plant is close but not done yet.
It may help to take some pics in some normal light and not under an HPS HID light too.

it's all a personal preference on the what you like your trichomes maturity to be. For me it's, 70- 75% Cloudy and 25-30% Amber.:weed:

She look like she could go a little longer to me. Just my two cents. I like to have around 30-50% amber, but as Ringsixty says, it's all a personal preference.

yea im trying to get that energetic high but not too paranoia high so maybe 20 percent amber is what i should go for?

i ordered a microscope that attaches to my camera so when that comes in the mail i should have some up close and personal pics so you can see.

and how close should i have the light which is a 400 watt hps light be from the top canopy as of now its 14 inches away, it was about18 then i moved it to 12 and noticed a slight heat stress white hairs started burning at top which couldve been from maturation or like i said heat stress, regardless, i moved it up 2 inches to see. Just trying to get as many lumens as possible

Trichomes don't dictate the high, whether it is sativa or indica dominant does. If you like an energetic high grow sativa, if you like a couch lock type of high grow an indica dominant strain. All letting your trics amber does is degrade the thc content by up to 90%. You want the majority of your trics to be cloudy, by this time there will be amber trics as well, not lots but some. Choosing the proper strain and harvesting at as many cloudy trics as possible will give you the best quality product with the most thc content.
