Hello...I have this tomato plant that has been growing pretty well. In the pictures there is this new growth that dosen't look like the rest. Is this the flowers begining to form? Thanx for any input or suggestions. If you look closely at the second picture you can see a Cannabis sprout!

I can't really tell from your pics... I think if it is a flower it probably wouldn't be followed by fruit, still to small.

Yeah, those are tomato flowers forming. I usually pinch them off until August, in the Northern Rockies.

Pinch them off? Will they grow back or grow more? I live in the mid-atlantic area.

Yes, more will grow. Sometimes tomatoes (and peppers, etc.) show flowers way too early, or even are here when purchased. Obviously that would be too early to see decent sized fruit, and the plant should veg some first anyway. I've always just pinched these early birds off.
If your plants have already vegged plenty, leave 'em to grow the fruits? Mid-Atlantic should give you plenty of time to mature.

Thanx for that info! I grew this plant from seed & I forgot when I actually started it. I think it's been around 75 days since I put the seed in soil. It was takin a while at first, but the past month has seen decent growth. I'm kinda just tryin' to learn how it's done ya know. I read that pinching them off promotes more fruit growth? I'm mostly worried about them getting pollinated because they are on my balcony & I don't see bumble bees at all anymore. Is there another way to get them pollinated? Thanx for all of you assistance - really apprieciate it!
