Are these female pre-flowers?

Today is day 36 from seed for my flourescent indoor grow. I've been noticing these little "pistil" looking things growing from the internodes. Are these pre-flowers? Female hopefully? Or is it too early to tell?

And yes it's too early to tell. You will usually see signs when the plant has more nodes, like 6-10. Then look at the node right below the new growth. The diagram above is pretty self explanatory.

Too early.....you will know when it happens, either way.....if you don't see white pistils, then.....

Yes you are simply looking at the stipules of the plant, As everyone else said the diagram above perfectly explains Good luck when Your plan does show hopefully it is a girl. Keep us posted and one love!

UPDATE! Alright, so fast forward to today, day 39 and I see THIS! Any luck now? According to the diagram I would jump to conclusions and call this female as it is clearly not a stipule. Any thoughts?
