I was just wondering if the likes of exotic genetix, in house genetics and the more expensive brands are worth the extra money? Are they harder to grow, easier to grow? A lot more flavour than the more normal priced genetics? I'm just trying to work out why they are over £100 for a pack of 5-10 seeds and if they're worth it. Thanks for any info, stay high
Personally I always choose breeders who have been around for quite a while.
DINAFEM is high up on my list. But they’re not America (Spanish) Which means they’ll probably be slated lol.
I’ve also used barneys farm, delicious seeds, DNAgenetics.
More often than not breeders that are fairly new etc are just pollen chuckers.
It can take time to breed stability into a strain when doing crosses etc.
“sometimes” Breeders are just pollen chucking the latest 2 “designer” strains together and selling the beans.
stability comes from selective breeding requirements and back crossing to become stable etc.
dinafem seeds for example are £6-£12 a seed. That’s pretty reasonable if you ask me.
that’s my bench mark Price for seeds when trying new strains. Anything above this price or below this price I don’t personally bother with.
