Are my seedlings ok?

  • Strain: Unknown Bagseed (Can this change?)
    Day: 3
    # Planted: 7 (So far 3 have shown signs of life)
    Nutrients: Not yet
    Water: Filtered water, 24 hr sit time before use (Will this be a problem?)
    Lights: CFL x3 800 lumens 60 Watt Equiv. 5,000k (Totals = 2,400 Lumens 180 Watt Equiv.) --> (Is that enough?)
    Light Cycle: 22/2 (Was going for the full 24 but decided they would at least want the 2 hr rest.)
    Indoor grow in a 30 gal. tub.
    Soil is organic starter mix (peat moss, vermiculite, perlite, and an organic wetting agent)

    For flowering lights I will use CFL x3 1600 Lumens 100 Watt equivalent 2700K (Totals = 4800 Lumens 300 Watt Equiv.) --> (Is that enough)

They look good so far
that lighting is fine for now
but ull need more cfls to flower unless ur going for a micro grow
look for actual watts not equivalent
About 100w per plant

Well, I have read around and been planning for weeks. Micro grow for me as of now. I do understand there is a learning curve, so small is best for me. I'm Mello BTW I'll be sticking around these parts from now on. Looking toward to meeting all the regulars!

They look good bro. Your water should be fine. Keep an eye out for hermies when you get to flowering. For bagseed they're pretty predominant, due to the unstable self pollination that more than likely occurred. Its hard to tell even after it flowers exactly what strain it is but you can most likely at least narrow it down to a family i.e. Kush, Haze, etc. by looks, taste and high.

Thanks for the advice guys. Got the mist bottle and they have been growing. I have 2 left at this point. Increased the light and mixed the spectrum. I know have 2 800 lumen 5,000k, 2 900 lumens 6500k, and 1 1600 lumens 2700k. I see what you mean by narrowing it down to family. I think ultimately that is the important part of what your smoking. How early can you begin to tell. So far I believe I have a dominant indica and a dominant sativa, other than that... nothing lol.
