Are my seedlings looking alright? (pics)

Hi, RIU !!!
I am new around here and first I want to say hello and express my gratitude for the huge amount of free information that growers are always ready to share.. I've never seen such egoless generosity in any other community around the web, to be honest..

So, for lots of reasons, I decided to start grow my own stash, to be able to enjoy this plant without all the unnecessary things that come along when you don't have your own but you enjoy a lot smoking weed.

This is my first attempt and i germinated 5 northern lights (fem.) in 50/50 coco/perlite, under a 400w (yeah, i know.. waste of electricity and would have been better off with a fluorescent but this is what I got for now.. Same with the 400w, I know 5 plants could be too much space for a 400 but that's I have for the beggining)

Besides all the other plans that I will share in the near future, or other questions and dilemmas, in this very moment I am really curious if they seem to do fine, so far..

I am now in the middle of day 3. Are they looking healthy and "normal"? Should they be bigger? I mean, the true leafs should have grown more by now? I want to check this because I fed them very little amounts of nuts so far (like, not even 1/4) because I was affraid of a nute burn, and I am not sure if I should have done more of it. I know all the controversy about feeding them or not in the first week, but, after I did a lot of investigation, my guts tell me to incline to the feeding theory because it's coco and they seem to do fine, they don't have a negative reaction, by contrary, as I said, my dilemma is that maybe I should have pushed further cause they are starving for more

So, with that being said, I will upload the pics now and looking forward for your opinions. Thanks a lot, guys!! And comments and opinions will be much appreciated!

PS: Don't mind the humidity level, that was because I opened the dome to take the photos. Usualy stays around 73%

Temps waaaay to high, drop by 5c. 29c will stunth their growth, try to aim for 23-24. How close are the lights?

I knew somebody will say that..
that's exactly what I did in the first moment (first day). I was keeping the temps at 21-23
yet, when I woke up (i run lights at night) they were freezed, looking all purple and white and completely dried out.. they were looking so bad that I was sure they will die. I immediately raised the temps to 28-29 and in a few hours they got back well and green that I couldn't believe it.. since then I am afraid to drop the temps too much for this few days seedling stage. When I will start vegetation, for sure I will drop them to 24-25. so, I know what you mean, it was just a strategy for the moment that seems to work fine so far..

Looks like seedlings to me...good job. I do have a couple of questions...How many days old are they? and, being that this is your first attempt (unless you have done some other gardening) why not just go with soil?

Coco and perlite have no nutrients. Definatly fed. But very diluted till they get used to it.

Are you sure it wasn't from them getting too dry and that's why they fell over? I can only assume you gave them water when you found them like that. Maybe that's why the perked back up?

They will grow in high temps. But they do not like it that high.
Do you know how cold it got in the room?
Do you have a min/max digital hydrometer? If not I'd sugest you get one so you can check low temps when the light comes on. And high temps too if your so inclined.

now i'm in the fourth
as about soil... i just felt afraid of the pests and mold. i have friends who grow in soil and they always struggle to eradicate spidermites and sometimes fungus. although many say that soil is more forgiving to beginners mistakes i had this ambition to try my best and get through it to a first harvest. but first, of course, because coco has its advantages over soil, so i read

indeed i watered them after but very little amount, like i read alot about overwatering seedlings and had this fear of doing this mistake. now, i don't know you might be right. all i know is that after i gave them that watering and i got the temps up to 28-29 they came back to life. and, in the room it was cold, that night was kind of cold outside, it's still winter even if not a very harsh one.
i have a min/max digital hydrometer and anyway the fact is that i dropped the temps to 27-27.5 since you and other people adviced me to do. also because i felt that shock moment was gone and they recovered and could drop it to more normal temps. cause, as i said, i had this in mind when i raised the temps then, to get them back to normal as soon as they get a little stronger and through this seedling stage that i feel is very fragile
